00:22And all the day I was born, the doctor was in the house and it said,

00:31And she said, no.
00:32He says, oh, you must call her Victoria. It's VED.
00:35So I think that's how I got Victoria to start with.
00:39But does that end up your second name?
00:40It's my second name, Weller.
00:42Your middle name?
00:43They might add Carol Pete first.
00:46So then me auntie got Victoria when she was born the same day,
00:50the victory for Victoria day.
00:52And then when I was born on that day as well,
00:54I wasn't supposed to be called Melissa Victoria,
00:56but I had to keep up the tradition.
00:58My mum had to include Victoria in the name as well.
01:01It's always been like a big occasion.
01:04Like obviously all three of us born on the same day
01:06and then it'd been VED.
01:08I've always known like it was VED that day as well.
01:13Carol is believed to have been the first baby born in Sunderland on VED.

01:18I've got no papers to say I am, you know,
01:21but I didn't in them days, I don't know.

01:26But I think I'm supposed to be the first baby.
01:28I was born at 25 past 12, just after midnight.
01:33I know my mum was standing at the door
01:35and she said everybody was going down to the town to party.
01:40My first daughter was born on my birthday
01:42and I didn't know, didn't have any name for her.
01:46And when my husband came into the hospital, he said
01:49she's going to get Victoria
01:52because she's born on your birthday.
01:55And then I popped along on the 8th of May as well.
01:57So I got Victoria as a middle name too.
01:59I couldn't believe it
02:00because she was a month early.
02:02A fourth member of the family came close to sharing the birthday.
02:06My other daughter,
02:07she was born eight days early
02:10so she would have been on my birthday.
02:12She was due the 8th of May.
02:14And if nothing else,
02:15there is always the guarantee of a party on their birthday.
02:18There's the only street parties you know I will have
02:20just sat outside.
02:23And that's it.
