00:03since the end of last season yesterday, and he was asked about the Will Campbell pick,

00:09and every time Will Campbell talks, Drake May gets excited.

00:17It makes you want to go out there and play football now.

00:20So, you know, pumped that we picked Will, and we got a chance to meet him when he came in

00:24and flew in on Friday, so, you know, pumped to get things going,

00:27and obviously, you know, that just seems like a football player.

00:31I heard almost all that with Drake May yesterday, and I feel like he's a guy who,

00:36you know, you lost David Andrews.

00:38You were spot on on Joe Cardona, that they were going to part ways with Joe Cardona.

00:44I feel like Drake May is a guy who's going to be a good leader on that football team

00:50because, you know, you're kind of a whole new regime here,

00:53and you got guys who can be leaders and change the vibe down there, Curtis.

00:57Yeah, well, I heard Cardona with the Afternoons yesterday,

01:00and he talked about the mixed messaging Drake May had last offseason,

01:05where he arrived and he was told to sort of sit back and learn from Jacoby Brissett,

01:09and then in camp he was told to compete.

01:12Then he won the job, and then he was forced to then sit behind Brissett.

01:15And he's like, Tom basically said that Vrabel's – Vrabel and – without saying it,

01:21the intimation was that Vrabel and Drake May have been on the same page

01:26and heading into camp together.

01:28Yeah, like, hey, here's the keys, Drake.

01:30Drive the card.

01:31That's what you have to do with your franchise quarterback.

01:33Like, you've got to like – and I get that part of that might be – and I don't know.

01:39It depends on what side you fall on, but part of that is like, all right,

01:42let's remove Joe Milton from the situation because we don't want any headache

01:50And it could be.

01:51I'm just – I said depending on what you side percolating over there.

02:04I also like that Drake May is never too high and never too low in front of the media,

02:07but everything we hear about his teammates is that he's fiery in the locker room,

02:12that he talks trash now.

02:14Like, he seems like he boasts good confidence.

02:16He's not cocky, but it's a good confidence balance.
