00:00The Liberal Democrats are very confident. We're hearing great things across the country.
00:04Here in Shropshire, we're very confident of winning lots of seats from the Conservatives
00:09following on from our win in North Shropshire and coming very close to winning South Shropshire
00:13from the Conservatives. We're now in marginal Lib Dem Conservative seats. I think we can
00:16really do well here in Shropshire, hearing great things from Oxfordshire, from Devon,
00:20from around the country. I think after all the results are in, it'll be the Liberal Democrats
00:24as a new party of Middle England. We are very confident of doing incredibly well. People
00:29have seen what people like Helen Morgan do. You elect a Liberal Democrat, you get a local
00:33champion who's going to stand up for the community and actually get things done. And across the
00:37country, people are turning to the Liberal Democrats. People have lost faith in politics, but they
00:42like our style of politics where we're community politicians from the community and work really
00:47hard. So very excited about that. Well, on the doorsteps that I've been on, people are turning
00:51to the Liberal Democrats from both Labour and Conservative. The Conservative vote is in meltdown
00:57and it's coming to the Liberal Democrats. I think lifelong Conservatives now see us as
01:01a party that best represents their values, whether it's on the economy, on health, or on things
01:07like standing up against President Trump. So I'm confident that we can replace the Conservatives
01:13as a party of Middle England. There's no doubt people are very disappointed by Labour and we're
01:18getting a lot of support from Labour too. I think the more people hear about what Nigel Farage
01:22stands for, the more they won't like it. So that's what I found on the doorsteps. People
01:26don't like the fact that he wants to privatise the NHS. They don't like the fact that he thinks
01:31Vladimir Putin is the world leader he most admires. And then when you come to President
01:36Trump, wasn't it interesting in the election, he didn't talk about Donald Trump or Elon Musk.
01:42Now the polls will close. He's saying he wants their policies in every local town. Well, that's
01:46not really how you should do politics. And I think he'll get found out.
