As the government plans to build more wind farms, we ask locals whether they would back having more in their local area if it helped to lower their energy costs.

00:00Yes, yes, I'd support anything like that. It's not even about getting a lower energy bill,
00:05it's about doing something for the planet. The planet's only got so, so much resources and that,
00:11and we're causing too much damage with the resources we do have.
00:15Only if they were doing something about storing solar power and wind power,
00:20rather than just having to use it immediately, and then even turning off wind turbines if it's
00:25too windy and they're making too much. So they need to have some joined up thinking,
00:30and actually have storage for the power that we're making either by solar or wind.
00:36I think there should be, we should be doing a lot, a lot, lot more for green energy,
00:41you know what I mean? Renewable energy and stuff like that. All this fossil fuel stuff,
00:45you just need to get rid of it all new. You know what I mean? We've got, the technology we've got now,
00:51we've got enough, do you know what I mean? To survive on it, live on it, whatever,
00:57do you know what I mean? It's all good.
