In a fiery address, President Donald Trump launched a scathing attack on Iran, accusing the regime of funding and arming terrorist organizations like Hamas and Hezbollah. Trump claimed Iran is at the core of a global terror pipeline, directly responsible for escalating violence in the Middle East. He also revealed disturbing details about the inhumane conditions faced by hostages held by Iranian-backed groups, calling the treatment "a humanitarian nightmare."

00:00They had no money. They weren't giving it to Hamas. They weren't giving it to Hezbollah.
00:04They weren't giving it to anybody because they didn't have any money.
00:07They were just about bust. And in fact, I put sanctions on last night.
00:13Any oil that anybody takes from Iran is not allowed to do business in the United States of America.
00:20With us today are the parents of Eden Alexander, the last living American held hostage by Hamas.
00:30Thank you. Thank you.
00:36And we don't know how he's doing, really, do we? We don't know.
00:40We think we know and hopefully positive.
00:42Freedom in America. We're also standing up against religious persecution around the world.
00:48With us today are the parents of Eden Alexander, the last living American held hostage by Hamas.
01:03And we don't know how he's doing, really, do we?
01:06We don't know. We think we know and hopefully positive.
01:11Two months ago, we were pretty sure and looked like he was getting out.
01:16But they've toughened up a little bit.
01:18And it's a terrible thing. I know what you're going through.
01:22A New Jersey boy, Eden, moved to Israel in 2022 and was taken hostage on the vicious October 7th attack on Jewish people.
01:32And now I will tell you that's an attack that would have never happened because the money was given by Iran to Hamas.
01:39Iran had no money when I was president. They were out of money. They were bust.
01:44They had no money. They weren't giving it to Hamas.
01:46They weren't giving it to Hezbollah. They weren't giving it to anybody because they didn't have any money.
01:50They were just about bust. And in fact, I put sanctions on last night.
01:56Any oil that anybody takes from Iran is not allowed to do business in the United States of America.
02:04But we're all alongside of you. We stand by you.
02:09And we're going to we're going to do everything possible in the very short period of time.
02:14You know, as you know, things are heating up there.
02:17I've gotten a lot of hostages out. We were getting nobody out.
02:21A lot of them are out, but they want to do it as slowly as possible because they use them as pawns.
02:27It's a horrible thing. But we're working very, very hard to to save your son.
02:33We have news coming out, both good and bad, but working very hard.
02:40And I have many parents seeing me. I was with hostages, 10 hostages that got out.
02:46They came about three weeks ago to the Oval Office right here.
02:49And they said to me, it was just terrible.
02:53And I said, interestingly, because, you know, you see there's always some heart in somebody, you think.
02:59I said, so you've seen like hundreds of Hamas, right?
03:02Yes, yes. They lived in a pipe. They didn't really live in a tunnel.
03:05They lived in a pipe that was this big. They could barely breathe.
03:09It's amazing when one was in for 305 days, one was in for over 500 days.
03:14But I got him out and through very tough, very tough.
03:19The whole thing was very tough. I said, did you ever see any love or kindness?
03:25Like, did any of these people that were guarding you, the Hamas people,
03:30did they ever look at you and say, don't worry, you'll be all right?
03:33Or did they ever look at you and say, I'm going to sneak you a little extra bread
03:37or a little extra something for eating. Did they ever give you any hope?
03:42He says, no, not one.
03:43I said, you mean, so not one person looked at you during your one and a half years in there.
03:50One was there longer than that. One was there a little shorter than that, different times.
03:54I said, not one. No, they used to give us a smack on the face.
03:58They would never do that. They're not one.
04:00And so there wasn't one person out of hundreds that said, I'm going to sneak you a little bread.
04:06I'm going to make sure you get home safely. Not one.
04:09And that amazed me, because in some really bad situations, you'd have some people like that.
04:16You'd have some people like that, but not one.
04:18And they were telling the truth. I mean, they were telling the absolute truth.
04:23And when I talked to them about the way they suffered, it was incredible.
04:28In fact, I'd say four or five looked very, very solid and normal.
04:34And four or five looked like they'd been through hell, but they were all through the same hell.
04:38And I looked at them. I said, I can't imagine what you've gone through, but we're going to do what we have to do.
04:43But I asked them a question. One was wearing 59.
04:47And I said, what does 59 represent? That's how many are left.
04:52I said, all right, well, get them out.
04:54I said, are they all living? No, 24 are living.
04:57I said, 24?
04:59He said, yeah, 24. Only 24.
05:02I said, 24 out of the 59 are living.
05:04And they knew because they had just gotten out.
05:06And what are the others? The others are all dead.
05:09But I spoke to the parents of the others.
05:12And as much as you want your beautiful boy out, they want their beautiful boy, and for the most part, as you know, boys, young boys, for the most part.
05:24But they want him out so badly.
05:25I said, is he okay? No, he's dead.
05:29But they want him out so badly, almost as much as if he were alive.
05:36It was an amazingly sad thing to say.
05:39The level of love for the children.
05:43And they didn't even view them as dead.
05:45They needed the body of their son.
05:47And they knew they were dead.
05:49But think of that.
05:50Out of 59, you had 24 that were living.
05:55And now I understand it's not even that number.
06:00And young people don't die.
06:02They're very resilient.
06:03You know, you don't have young people dying.
06:06Young people are killed.
06:07Old people die.
06:09They can't take it.
06:10They couldn't breathe in some cases.
06:12They had them in a pipe, closed at both ends.
06:15If you're claustrophobic, it's a big problem.
06:25You know, it's a big problem.
