Transcript
00:00Okay, so I watched all eight episodes.
00:04Yes.
00:04I could not stop watching.
00:06You killed me.
00:07Really?
00:08You killed me.
00:09I'm just going to say it.
00:10I hope nobody gets offended.
00:11Fuckery.
00:12That's a perfect description for what was going on.
00:14It was a giant fuckery.
00:15Complete fuckery.
00:16Isn't that a wonderful word?
00:17It's my favorite word.
00:19It's like the swear version of kerfuffle.
00:22I mean, it is just the best word ever.
00:24And you killed me.
00:26I fell off the freaking couch.
00:28When you grabbed the horn to silence the sex, that alligator horn.
00:36It was already an act of violence happening towards us.
00:39He was like, I can't do that.
00:41I can't do a yurt.
00:42And now I can't do that.
00:43Call on me.
00:44I'm right with you.
00:45It was a Glock.
00:46It was so great.
00:48I said, what's he going to do?
00:49Oh, dear.
00:51I loved you in Sing Sing.
00:53You were fantastic.
00:54Congratulations on your nomination.
00:56Thank you so much.
00:56This is a very different role from Euphoria and from Sing Sing.
01:00What did you do to become Danny?
01:02You know, I got to lean into a softer, more relaxed time to just actually, like, you know,
01:09deal with situational comedy, which I'm usually never afforded.
01:13People always say, like, oh, you're a funny guy.
01:15Why don't you do more comedy?
01:16You really are funny.
01:17I feel like naturally when people know me, they're like, I'm a lighthearted, I guess,
01:21person with a sense of humor.
01:22But usually I'm always in these dramas where I'm, like, you know, doing this soul-crushing
01:27work.
01:28Yeah, that's for sure.
01:28So it's a great opportunity to be invited to do this and play with these comic geniuses.
01:33People probably will be surprised that he, to me, is the funniest one off camera.
01:40Like, is always, excuse me, down to clown.
01:45That's a little expression I learned that my 19-year-old does not love when I use.
01:50I like that one.
01:50I might have to steal it down to clown.
01:52And you are really, this is going to be the entree vu for America to know who you are.
02:00And you were fantastic.
02:02You were sensitive.
02:03You killed me as the wedding singer.
02:06I literally was like, is he really going to sing that song?
02:10Oh, yes, I did sing.
02:11And do you sing in real life?
02:13No, I mean, the shower.
02:14No, and I sang a lot.
02:16Like, we did that.
02:17We did a vaccine.
02:19Every angle.
02:20Of course you have to.
02:21Yes.
02:22Well, you did a great job with it.
02:24I loved how classy your character was because it was a giant fuckery happening in your life.
02:32And you were so classy.
02:33I just love that character.
02:35Was that an easy character for you?
02:38Surprisingly, yes.
02:39And I don't say that as like a punchline because we know, you know, it got real messy from, you know, the fuckery.
02:47But very easy because of the way Tracy Lang and Tina write.
02:54It's real.
02:55It's raw.
02:56It's genuine.
02:57It's just folks.
03:00Have you ever vacationed with other couples like within the four seasons that you do?
03:06And you found out something, you know, pretty sacred.
03:10And how did you handle it?
03:13And if you're besties with both of them, how do you pick a team?
03:17Wow.
03:17That's really tricky.
03:19I feel like whenever you go on a group vacation, there's got to be, of course, you know, you're off with the group for a moment.
03:25And then you've got to have your personal time when you're sort of gossiping and talking about something about the group in some way.
03:30What you've discovered.
03:31And then you go into it with that way and then you need your own space.
03:34But you're just constantly navigating.
03:36And I don't know how anyone would navigate something like finding out something and then like, how do you, that's the tricky part right there.
03:42Like, who do you sort of not choose sides with?
03:46Right.
03:46But sometimes it switches.
03:47Because you kind of do choose sides.
03:49You kind of do.
03:50Naturally, you do.
03:51And you start to look at everyone's behavior.
03:53You sort of like have a sensitivity towards more towards one than the other.
03:57It's kind of a tough thing.
03:58I just am a vault.
04:00I just, I wouldn't have said anything.
04:01But, you know, you guys couldn't wait to say things.
04:03I mean, you guys couldn't wait to rat it out.
04:07Exactly.
04:08Do either of you have a story?
04:09I have the same answer, really.
04:11That was very well said.
04:12I'm a peacemaker and I just want to have fun.
04:14And I just, I don't want people to hurt.
04:16And I don't want people to feel unincluded.
04:20And so I just try and, you know, but sometimes on trips with groups, it can be the most exhausting role of all.
04:29Big groups are very tricky to go on holiday with.
04:32But I, when I was a young, like my early 20s, I went in a very, and I was in a very young, fresh relationship.
04:40And we went on a holiday with another couple and we discovered another gay couple.
04:43They were open in a relationship.
04:45And for me, open relationship was like, what?
04:48Like sin.
04:49It was like sin.
04:50It was like sin.
04:50It was a sin.
04:50I was still very, back in Italy.
04:52So full of Catholic guilds wrapped all around me.
04:56So open relationship.
04:57Oh, God.
04:58It's like, so I think I judged both of them and also the partner at that time because he kind of loved the idea.
05:05And I was like, oh, no.
05:07I like you.
05:08You're a judger.
05:09I like you.
05:10Which character are you?
05:12Out of the three of you?
05:14Out of the cast.
05:14Out of the cast.
05:15I would be a little of her, but not as classy.
05:19And I would be a lot more of Tina.
05:21Ah, okay, cool.
05:22I would be a lot more of Kate.
05:24Okay, you're more Kate.
05:25And I would want to be best friends with your kids.
05:27Okay, great.
