00:00productive because I have less pressure like it's not the most important thing
00:05in the world for me that I'm the greatest you know what I mean what's
00:09most important in the world for me is that I'm the greatest dad then I'm the
00:13best husband I can be and it's allowed me to kind of have a different perspective
00:18on my career and what it means to be successful these people love you man and
00:23it's not just a song there are times when you are the bad guy and for me if
00:30I'm being honest man my favorite Seth Rollins is the bad guy I love when you're
00:34I love when you're sneaky I love when you cheat I love when you're like I love
00:40that guy but the love that you get from these fans how great does that feel for
00:44you every time you hit that curtain to feel that type of just love and
00:49appreciation well you know how it is you know you've had so many fights in your
00:53career and you know there's an adrenaline rush every single time you do it but
00:58every time you do it it's just a little less and a little less and a little less
01:02but the thing that never changes the thing that is more and more is kind of
01:08this relationship of gratitude that you get with all of you guys so every time I
01:15come out through the curtain doesn't matter what it feels like behind the
01:21curtain the second I step out and I hear you guys singing the song or chanting the
01:26name or whatever it is if you're booing the life out of me or you know you're
01:30cheering the more that I do it and so I never get tired of that and for me as a
01:34fan as someone who is just like all of you who idolized people in my shoes growing
01:39up I never ever get tired of that and it is one of my driving forces that keeps me
01:46coming back time after time match after match year after year you know what I
01:51love and I was speaking to Gunther just recently he said it's been 20 years since
01:55he started wrestling you guys know at a very young age that this is the craft
02:00that you want to make your living in this is the the career path that you choose
02:04when you get the 12 WrestleManias is it 12 now 12 WrestleManias for Seth Rollins
02:11still feel bigger year in and year out especially when you're in the main event
02:17as you are on Saturday night I I think because the business has gotten bigger and
02:23bigger especially in the past few years you know you look back to when I came in
02:28and my first one in 2013 and then you kind of go through those years that 14 to
02:3415 to 16 to 17 the business wasn't it was it was sort of stagnated right but over
02:40the past few years we've seen this resurgence a lot of fans have started to
02:44come back to WWE a lot of new fans are coming to WWE a lot of new eyes now we're
02:50on Netflix right so yeah we're such a massive brand right now and there's so
02:55many eyes on the company so every single time we go out there for
02:59WrestleMania which as you know is is our Super Bowl is our big event now the
03:05pressure amps up because you want to validate all the old fans coming back
03:10you want to validate all the new fans coming and show them this is it man this
03:15is the most beautiful form of sports entertainment in the entire world and we
03:20are the very best and so it keeps pushing for you always find new
03:25challenges and WrestleMania is the Everest of those challenges yeah and when you
03:32have been in the game as you've been we've seen multiple Seth Rollins internally
03:37when you're having to recreate yourself to keep it interesting because not
03:42everybody can do that not everybody can be at the main event year in and year
03:48off without giving us something different internally when you're going through
03:52that process to become Seth freaking Rollins or to become the the architect and all
03:58these other things how how do you go through that process to make sure that it's
04:03still fresh because after all these years you're still as viable and that's
04:07valuable to the product as you've ever been well I get bored too you know yeah but we
04:15do you know you can feel it you know it's a sense that you get after doing it for so
04:19many years it's not necessarily boredom but you get that vibe like oh man I want
04:24to freshen this up I want to do something new I want to change my look I want to
04:27change my tone I want to change the way I do this or do that the way I interact
04:31with certain characters and the way I interact with the audience and then you
04:34sort of just start putting stuff out there whatever you think might stick and
04:38you got to commit to it and then and then you see what the feedback is you know
04:42when the entrance theme is a great example that was something that I never really
04:48imagined that it would get the response that it has and the fact that people
04:52sing it like crazy every single night still years later is something that I
04:58wouldn't have assumed when I put it together I just thought it was a cool
05:01song and it kind of fit the vibe of what I was going for so it's just a matter of I
05:05like the challenge of reinventing myself I like the challenge of seeing what the
05:10next evolution is going to be and how I can take it to the next level and then I
05:14like to see what the response is to see what you I was talking to someone the
05:18other day and they said to me did you ever take note of your career when you
05:24were in it and I said I never did I was always on to the next thing so I never
05:28truly appreciated the championship because on Monday I was up to who's next
05:33who do I get to fight the next time do you ever sit back Seth and take it all in
05:39because when you're standing back there waiting to come out here and I go he's
05:44been a two-time world champion been a five-time universal champion been a six
05:48time tag champion the you know intercontinental United States do you
05:53ever sit back and go this is much better than I ever could have imagined it
05:59going especially when you're a person that follows the business as you have your
06:03entire life no you know what so I'm with you in the sense that it's always been
06:11very difficult for me to sit back and and enjoy my success because I'm the same
06:17way I just go what's the next challenge yeah who's the next fight like how do we
06:21sell tickets to tomorrow and because our business is year-round like we don't
06:26really have an offseason to reflect on WrestleMania the way say the Philadelphia
06:30Eagles did when they win the Super Bowl you know we don't just get to go off to
06:33Disneyland you know yeah shout out to the Eagles hey I'm a Bears fan man I'm a
06:40Bears fan no no you don't like the Bears I love anybody like the Bears oh I'm from
06:46Iowa they're right there don't hate on me man you look it's loyalty all right
06:52loyalty that's what it is loyalty to my family to my people I'm a Bears fan through
06:57it's in my blood I saw something that you're gonna be doing some NFL stuff is
07:01that true uh yeah maybe a little bit I was able to co-host good morning football
07:07a few a few weeks ago I had a lot of fun doing that Rich Eisen asked me to sell
07:12uh dip where's dip where's my manager can I say this I don't I'm saying it so I'm
07:18gonna announce a draft bit for the Chicago Bears at the upcoming draft and Green Bay
07:24here at the end of April sorry dip if I screw that up so maybe you do like the
07:28Bears I do like the Bears but to answer your question because I think it's an
07:32important one and I think it's a lesson that I try to instill in a lot of my
07:36students is I was a very goal oriented person and I attribute that mindset to a
07:42lot of my success being able to set goals and do everything in my power within you
07:49and I mean sometimes without
07:56the greatest blog word of all time
