“Not become like 'notebandi'…” Akhilesh Yadav alerts Govt over suspension of IWT with Pakistan

Ballia (Uttar Pradesh), May 01, 2025(ANI): Speaking on Pahalgam Terrorist Attack, the chief of Samajwadi Party Akhilesh Yadav said that every citizen of the country including the political parties are with the government. The Government can take whatever concrete steps they want to take. He also alerted Modi government over suspension of Indus water Treaty and said that The 'Jalbandi' (suspension of Indus Water Treaty) should not become like 'notebandi' (demonetisation). He said, "SP and all other political parties of the country as well as the citizens of the country are with the Government. The Government can take whatever concrete steps it wants to take. The citizens are with it. They have done 'Jalbandi' (suspension of Indus Water Treaty). It should not become like 'notebandi' (demonetisation)."
