Tottenham's James Maddison pledged his support to Ange Postecoglou despite an 'unacceptable' league campaign
Transcript
00:00We're behind the manager, 100%.
00:03I think he's a great man.
00:06Listen, he's the first person to tell you, I've heard it myself,
00:09that we've had a poor season, especially in the league.
00:12We've been very good in Europe, but the league season's probably been unacceptable
00:16and we can all take a collective responsibility for that.
00:20But he's my manager, he's my gaffer, I respect him an awful amount.
00:25And listen, the narrative is something that we players try and keep away from
00:29because it's not healthy to read into what you like are talking about,
00:33the manager's position.
00:36I just know that I come into work every day and see the lads listening,
00:42taking on the messages, how he wants to play and the coaches
00:45and trying to do what's best for this club.
00:48And like I said, we're in a very good position in Europe
00:51where we can still have a special season under his management.
00:55So I'll continue to do that until the day he isn't here.
00:58He's my manager and I respect him an awful amount, like I just said.
01:03So that will continue.
