05:38for a room full of rocking chairs honestly i feel really awkward here i've been dancing to

05:44her music since i was like 15 years old and now she's gonna help me find a dance partner like

05:53have you ever had the opportunity alan to go on a first date with eight beautiful ladies

06:00no ma'am absolutely not so how's that feel uh a little wrong actually

06:04no uh no it's very exciting i feel like i showed up to try out for the majors i've only played t-ball

06:12for sure you're about to be in the world series of love right here something like that farmer ryan

06:18you look wonderful you look so handsome how are you feeling i tell people that cowboying makes up

06:24half of who i am and my horses mean everything to me you know so to open myself up and share

06:31that part of my life with someone um it would mean a lot

06:41today what we're gonna do you each get to go on a first date with all eight of your ladies

06:48individually to get to know each other a bit better oh i'm excited

06:52after which out of that eight you will choose five who you feel a connection with to go with you to

07:03try out the farm to see what it feels like for them to step inside your world

07:11not gonna have a lot of time with each other so in that time my best advice would be put it all out

07:34what is your current dating situation i don't think you can have a dating situation if you're not dating

07:42farming and ranching is in my blood and i don't think there's anything else i could do

07:51it's the best job in the world but my lifestyle it's not the easiest my house is kind of in the

07:56middle of nowhere nearest neighbor's two and a half miles away and dating apps are great but you can

08:02only set that perimeter so wide and then i'm like oh look sarah and micah again here we are

08:07i'm just living life right now and i need to find that person who is my life

08:17people always ask me when i want kids and i say five years ago

08:20but i don't want to find the girl that i can make it work with

08:24i want to find the girl that i can't make it work without

08:27there's butterflies so i feel like i was born ready for love i've been dreaming of getting

08:38married since i was a little girl good luck you got me i am a single mom hi and i picked farmer

08:46landon because i do know that he loves kids so that's a big plus for me cold yes

09:16and i don't it doesn't feel like a home unless you have somebody special exactly yeah i totally get it

09:25never really just run around oklahoma see they're okay but oklahoma's way better so yeah you did save

09:32the best for last ashley is just cuter than a speckle pup sleeping in the shade of a wagon wheel

09:41oh would you like to see a picture of my daughter so this is her so i should have expected she would

09:46be that adorable when you made her and oh my gosh her daughter would be best friends with my nieces

10:01the chemistry is there made me like a little bit giddy i just feel like screaming right now

10:08oh my god his eyes are so pretty yeah yeah his eyes are really pretty i've actually never even

10:22been on a blind date or anything like that so this is really all new to me i think it's like important

10:26though for him to get to know us because in a couple hours he has to make a decision i know like there's

10:30eight of us you know it's going to be hard to make a decision on who i might potentially spend the rest of

10:35my life with it

10:43farming has just been my entire life and i don't know any different but it's time for the next chapter

10:50i want to be a husband and a father one day and raise my own family i've learned lots of things from

10:56past relationships i think maybe that i have trouble expressing what love looks like for me because

11:05to me love is more of a feeling than word spoken i just want somebody to like me for who i am take

11:12it or leave it

11:22i'm kind of over what is out there right now and i want to go back to the good old days i'm ready to

11:28rock and roll for this guy how are you yes finally hi honey hey you doing good yeah doing good you want

12:06the south i got you my little brother is the only one left in alabama so it gives me a good reason to

12:10go back home yeah sure yeah family's a big part of my life mine too yeah yeah they're my best friends

12:16so what do you think about moving back to the south well why you think i'm here honey i'm ready to kind

12:21of come back yeah it's not working out well for me with like the whole dating scene out there no

12:26and i think there's something about men from the south and how they were raised and like what they

12:36to get to get out of your ranch all right you know the very first impression that i had of alan was

12:40that i really can see like him actually being a potential partner for me can i have another hug

12:54maybe that's just his personality did you like her yeah she's cool and she's just cool yeah you know

13:04dating this is a tough thing i would not consider myself a romantic necessarily by nature i'm not

13:10really good at being super sweet i'm more like a hey let me go wash your car or let me go get you

13:16gas really you only talk to one girl at a time your whole life and then something like this comes along

13:21and it's just not really in my wheelhouse you just need to do yourself that's what i'm doing but i feel

13:26like i'm screwing it up why you're not screwing i don't know you're not just don't want them to be

13:31like right we picked the wrong guy i don't know i'm just alan still to come well hey cowboys the

13:39farmers are finding connections lord have mercy so what are you looking for i'm looking for you

13:46but who will be headed back to the farm this is the decision that could potentially change my life

13:52forever but you don't want to make the wrong choice send the right girl home obviously these decisions

13:59are tough yeah and they're real it's terrifying

14:09this is like a dream

14:14it's crazy i feel like we're all stunners i'm like how will you choose i don't think i've ever put myself in

14:21as much of an emotional roller coaster in such a short time

14:28growing up i've always cowboyed my family started cowboying in the 60s and we brought the ranch together

14:36i have 46 acres and financially my lifestyle is set up

14:42the one thing that's missing is love

14:44so the relationship what i'm looking for is something that can grow organically like a good

14:51fruit you know i want to find a woman who's independent comfortable in her own skin and a go-getter

15:03i am looking for love on a farm because the guys i've dated in miami they don't have that country

15:09kick to them that i'm looking for hi hansen come here a farmer's kind of got that grit and i'm into

15:15that so tell me again where you from i grew up in new york but my senior of high school i moved to

15:21potomac maryland okay maryland okay high school was hard but i could always escape to the barn that was

15:26my sanctuary that's where i like went to to escape and just be my like my authentic self i didn't have

15:32to answer to anybody i could just work with my pony we can talk about horses all day and that's kind

15:36of interesting i like that i like that yeah you have brown eyes oh thank you yes you're getting

15:41lost in my eyes yes there's a lot i can say about lily looking at her i feel

15:50i feel let me just say that i'm not done are we

16:02think there's passion there when it comes to lily i'm besotted i am besotted by ryan

16:18so i'm a fifth generation cattle producer i've been so focused on building my family business that

16:26now i'm 31 and looking in the mirror i'm like you got to find somebody to share this life with or what

16:32what are you doing it for a friend of mine once told me i'm with you when you're right and i'm with

16:40you when you're wrong that really resonated with me i'm looking for that person that's truly there

16:46for the good the bad the ugly all aspects of life hey there how are you i'm doing great

16:55i really gravitate towards people that feel like sunshine and i know i only saw a minute long video

17:02of him but i can just tell he's just ball of light and i'm excited to kind of get to know him more

17:08so tell me about you where are you from i grew up in flagstaff sedona so how do you feel about like

17:13the ranching aspect of everything you know well if you're outside getting the vitamin d the sunshine

17:18and it's just you can't be unhappy with that going on around you oh yeah yeah oh my gosh i think i

17:27watched your video like 30 times oh goodness man i almost started like crying on the spot um hearing

17:33about your mom because uh i lost both my parents oh i'm so sorry that's okay you know it's it's life

17:40is life and that's what it is it's just our story it's their story and it's just what happened

17:44and i think you're just such a strong person for being the light that you are from what i can tell

17:51and well i got a lot of that from her she could light up any room she walked in so huge yeah yeah

17:56but thank you for saying that i totally understand where you're coming from losing a parent it's a

18:01tough deal and like the fact that you got that open about it and stuff that you know that that that

18:06really hit home today's all about finding that romantic connection fast hello hello

18:22dallas texas born and raised you're like my neighbor that's not as good as oklahoma oh i have to be

18:26honest like i don't have a ton of farm experience but i'm open to it good deal i'm looking forward to

18:30talking to you a little bit more and you travel a lot always on the road am i coming with you oh yeah

19:00the farmer's speed dates are flying by at a rapid pace so what are you looking for i'm looking for

19:07you but only five ladies can come back to the farm you have a big decision ahead of you i know it's

19:49hello finally our four farmers are on a quest to find the perfect match so why a cowboy you're a black

19:55cowboy that is overlooked a lot in our culture in american history and of course loves a two-way

20:02street well hey cowboy each of our single ladies must also decide if there's a promising connection

20:10i definitely am here to meet my forever person and when i saw his picture landon just jumped off

20:15the page at me you know he looks like he's a gentleman and that's really hard to come by in

20:20orlando i have a hard time looking at your eyes because i had a hard time not staring at you in

20:26there i'm just like i'm not gonna look away i'm just gonna be awkward and like why are you still

20:30looking at me so oh my goodness like i've got crazy butterflies right now yeah god he's a dadgum disney

20:35princess i mean get lost in those eyes for days oh we're flexing here we are flexing so just done

20:43pageants your whole life well i paid my way through school really yes wow biomedical science

20:48and neuroscience so stunning and intelligent so you go in public guys are just me following you around

20:54not the kind of guys i like no no he's a total southern gentleman and oh god there's so much

21:01chemistry i've got bubbles and butterflies and i can't get the stupid smile off my face

21:22socks off for some sparks fly instantly i haven't seen was under that hat yet okay oh he had some with

21:47i'm really not the awkward type most of the time but i mean i guess it could happen and i mean now

21:58um ag sales basically um pharmacy ag sales like farmers ag agriculture yeah you forgot my name

22:07earlier i know but i know i'm kind of mad at you for that i'm like oh my gosh he doesn't even like me

22:12no no no it's not that i've just met lots of people okay so alan

22:17how are you good how are you good good so why me for one you're beautiful and you know i'm just

22:30trying to figure out why you think that you want to be put into the farming lifestyle and and why you

22:35would thrive there well i don't know i work in new york city i have like a pretty extreme like city life

22:43and no experience whatsoever on a farm so it would be totally different for me so

22:50like have you ever ridden before no no not at all i rode a donkey in mexico once that definitely counts

22:56well there you go that counts so can we get me a donkey you know what i'll tell you what i'll see

23:01what i can do about that i'll see what i can do what stands out about ariana to me is that she's

23:06pretty well lived her life in a big city and you know while that's maybe not ideal i think there's

23:13definitely some potential for some good chemistry there so you think maybe she's gonna be the one

23:19you know what i'm saying as our farmers final dates draw to a close i now have eight women i have to cut

23:29it down to five i do not know how we're going to get there i'm gonna have to call in a lifeline on

23:35this one they now all face a life-changing decision i don't know about y'all but that was a day for

23:46the books for me how do they expect us to make this decision ain't a nickel's worth a difference you

23:59i've kind of known i've had to make this decision all day but you know it comes time to make it and

24:17great conversations it makes it really hard to make this kind of heavy decision so big moment yes ma'am

24:26out of this wonderful group of eight women only five will join you on the next leg of this journey

24:33and it does have to be a connection both ways because it's a big decision absolutely

24:39so who will be the first lady that you're going to invite back to the farm

24:48i'm nervous that he's not as excited to get to know me more

24:51as i am him i just don't know what he's thinking i'm just going to kind of go with my gut and it's

24:58kind of all i got to go on you know i think we made some uh some good connections all across the board

31:16other in this journey to find love farmers each week you will get a chance to spend some individual

31:25time with one of these lucky ladies you'll get to do this for 24 hours this is a huge advantage in

31:35getting to know one another and why don't we start this actually right now

31:46having a full 24 hours when no one else does is huge i think it's a bonus to get there kind of

31:54ahead of the other girls so i already had to make three decisions today that i did not want to make

32:00and now i have to upset four of the girls in my group by picking one of them to come back

32:06to my place for an entire 24 hours i didn't know it even want me

32:22so farmer allen who are you going to invite for the first 24 hours back to the farm

32:28i'm kind of nervous right now i hope i get a second chance to be more relaxed and really like

32:33spend more time together because 10 minutes wasn't enough

32:40uh really tough decision but um the girl i went on a first date with today she was really nervous

32:46about it so was i but i do feel like we had a really really strong connection and i would like to

34:35takes a little getting used to okay one of these girls mentioned they had not been to oklahoma before

34:40so my first date i thought i'd give her a nice proper introduction and let her do it herself

34:46problem is i have two ashleys

35:40this is the south end of the county with some more agricultural cute it's very georgia

35:44so how many cows do you have uh 68 three bulls 68 i was thinking like 10. that's a lot of cows

36:01it's literally what i do for a living so yeah it's not a hobby herd

36:06i'm very happy that i have chosen ashley i mean i'm really hoping this is the one but

36:11i wouldn't have never expected that this would kind of be her cup of tea

36:17one thing you want to try while you're here what would be the number one thing

36:21petting cows i want to pet your cows okay

36:25i like how the houses are like all spread out yeah and these are way closer together than

36:30any house next to mine oh really i don't have a neighbor for two miles two miles yeah i live in
