Rund einen Monat nach dem Release von Assassin's Creed Shadows hat Entwickler Ubisoft die nächsten Schritte für das Open-World-Abenteuer im alten Japan bekanntgegeben. In einem Videoblog verrieten die Entwickler zwar immer noch nicht das Releasedatum der ersten Erweiterung Klauen von Awaji, stellten aber bereits einige Inhalte vor, die bis zu deren Release später im Sommer ihren Weg ins Spiel finden sollen.

01:07and a brand new weapon exclusive to Naoe,
01:09the Bow Staff.
01:12Claws of Awaji will be launching later this year,
01:14but the question is,
01:15what else can you expect until then?
01:17We are planning free story drops,
01:20which will include new abilities,
01:22new allies,
01:23new activities,
01:24as well as flesh out some of the backstories
01:26of your fan-favorite characters
01:28that perhaps need a little more screen time.
01:33The first story drop is titled
01:35The Works of Louis Froyce.
01:37This will give you a deeper look at this historical Jesuit scholar,
01:41who has done extensive work on literature and accounts of the period.
01:46Your feedback has been a core focus of the team throughout development,
01:49and that's not stopping now that Shadows is released.
01:52Regular title updates are coming,
01:54each with impactful additions and changes
01:56based on your feedback and requests,
01:58with some bug fixes to continue refining the experience
02:01across all platforms.
02:03For instance,
02:04one of the most requested feature
02:06from all of you parkour enthusiasts out there,
02:08we've been working on a first parkour update
02:11that will be coming later this May.
02:13I can 100% confirm that we're adding
02:15a height-gaining back eject,
02:17as well as a fully reanimated height-gaining side eject,
02:21and a new parkour interaction,
02:23which is called the vertical ledge jump,
02:25to grab awnings and low overhangs
02:27when a wall run is not an option.
02:31Also in May,
02:32we'll be expanding the photo mode with new filters and features,
02:35new character poses and facial expressions,
02:37and a new way to add ambient music
02:39to give you more options
02:40when it comes to capturing the beauty of feudal Japan.
02:43We'll be releasing our second community feedback updates,
02:46which will allow you to customize your immersion even further.
02:50This will allow you to turn off individual visual effects,
02:53such as glints on weapons during combat,
02:55assassination filters, ability filters,
02:58as well as turn off the outlines around your characters during stealth sections.
03:02We're also expanding our alarm system, which you've experienced in castles,
03:08but now we bring it into the open world for even more challenge.
03:12Future updates will add the ability to toggle your headgear on or off during cutscenes.
03:17We're also adding a pretty fleshed out New Game Plus mode,
03:20which will significantly raise the level cap.
03:23And for all of you hardcore fiends out there,
03:25we're already hard at work on adding a new difficulty settings for both combat and stealth.
03:32Coming later in June, none of you will be unscathed.
03:36We'll be sure to share specific dates when we have them locked in,
03:39as well as tell you about what each update will contain.
03:42So sit tight and get ready to take your Shadows experience to a whole new level.
