00:00Good evening and welcome back to a jubilant home-call carpets community stadium here in Burgess Hill.
00:08I've got Martin Box with me, scorer of the first goal. Martin, first of all, the team played really well tonight, didn't they?
00:16They did indeed, yeah. It wasn't an easy one, we knew it wouldn't be easy. We had to dig in, we had to pull out all the stops and we did.
00:23The lads from back to front were absolutely superb and I think we deserved the win at the end of the day. It's been a great night.
00:30Yeah, I mean, you're from a defending point of view, clean sheets, we've had a lot this season and it's probably no surprise that we've had another one tonight.
00:40100%, we've got a little joke in the group where we say we've got our tin hats on and we certainly did that tonight.
00:45I thought the back four and slab were absolutely superb. Two centre-half, Coups and Logan put their head on everything and our two full-backs defended 1v1 really, really well, which nullified them and their main threats.
00:58So, yeah, back four and slab were superb tonight.
01:01Fantastic. And then, halfway through that first half, the ball comes to you down the right-hand channel, I believe.
01:10I think it's the right-hand channel. And you hit it first time. It must have felt good when it hit the back of the net.
01:15Yeah, it did. It was one of those. It sort of opened up and when I hit it, I thought, oh, I've hit that quite well.
01:22And then I think it took a reflection on its way through and then all I've seen is the back of the net.
01:27And then, yeah, that was that. But it was just getting myself in the position to try and score goals.
01:31It's what I've targeted myself to do this year, just try and score a few more goals.
01:35And, yeah, I'm just glad to get one tonight. And like I said, the team played superbly and it deservedly got the win.
01:42Yeah, and lastly, the club's really pulled out all the stops tonight.
01:47I mean, when you had a look around the ground, it looked perfect.
01:50There was outlets here, there and everywhere. Nearly 1,500 fans coming through.
01:57And then, of course, the huge atmosphere tonight.
02:01The guys playing on that pitch in green, you must have felt that.
02:05A hundred percent. It's a cliche saying, but they were definitely the 12th mound for us tonight.
02:09And being a local lad, I've been walking around the last couple of days and you can see the build up.
02:13You can see the amount of work that goes into making nights like this possible and the volunteers.
02:17And the time they give up to come and help us is absolutely superb.
02:21And I speak to all the boys. They really appreciate it.
02:24And, yeah, tonight was a great night for things off the pitch.
02:27That then allowed us to go and do what we needed to do on it.
02:31And, yeah, overall, it was just a really good night for us.
02:34Yeah, I mean, it felt like the club was in perfect harmony tonight, wasn't it?
02:38The team produced off the pitch and then you guys produced on the pitch.
02:43And now, Martin, I don't know how you're feeling.
02:47You've only got two or three days, I think, until we go to...
02:50Unfortunately, we've got to go to sitting ball.
02:52And it would have been a nice time to have another home run.
02:54How are the lads feeling about that?

02:59And I was just speaking to one of my family runs, actually.
03:01And I was just saying, I don't think it's really sunk in what we've managed to do tonight.
