00:00Now, I have time, Mr. President, for other remarks that I'd like to make at this point.
00:08Today, I come to the floor to speak about the FBI and Arctic Frost.
00:18Arctic Frost was another political case against President Trump and also against whistleblowers.
00:30Through records that I have already made public, the investigation's political origins are now firmly established.
00:41The case originated our anti-Trump FBI agent, Tebow, and his merry band of partisans.
01:00A partisanship that should never be present in our FBI, but I'll show how it was present.
01:11Partisan FBI agents and Department of Justice prosecutors led the charges and led the charges as a tag team, causing political chaos to try and destroy President Trump.
01:32Now, I have made these people's names public in document productions, and that's the way it should be.
01:46We should let the American people know who threw our country into chaos to satisfy their very selfish political goals.
01:59We need to expose the political conspiracy that surrounded President Trump.
02:06They hurt our country through several different processes.
02:16We call these Crossfire Hurricane, the Special Counsel, Mueller's investigation of the Russia-Russia hoax, and finally, Jack Smith's two cases against President Trump.
02:33And now added to this list is what I mentioned in my opening statement, Arctic Frost, which ultimately became one of Jack Smith's cases against President Trump.
02:49Now, FBI agent, FBI agent, Tebow, violated the FBI's no self-approval rule.
03:01Literally, there is a rule on the books in the FBI called the no self-approval rule.
03:10That rule says that a supervisor isn't supposed to create a case and then approve that case for themselves.
03:24Now, the records show that Senator Johnson of Wisconsin and I've made public, which includes Tebow's e-mails, proves that he did exactly what the no self-approval rule forbids.
03:45His bad conduct also exposed the cultural rot within the FBI and the DOJ's leadership.
03:57How, you might ask?
03:59Because all of them eagerly approved of Tebow's case.
04:06All those alleged layers of review on the seventh floor of the FBI building turned out to be Democratic National Committee's echo chamber.
04:21Our country suffered as a result, and so have our government institutions.
04:28And now, President Trump and the American people have an opportunity to see the details of the political conspiracy that tried to take President Trump down.
04:43Moreover, I questioned then-nominee Todd Blanche about whether Jack Smith provided all the e-mails that I've made public to the Trump Defense Council.
05:02Blanche said that Biden prosecutors did not provide all the e-mails.
05:10Failing to provide these types of records and information to Defense Council prevents Defense Council from making a complete defense.
05:24It prevents them from full and complete questioning of all the witnesses.
05:30It's pretty obvious.
05:33If the defense team knew that partisan FBI agents had opened the case against Trump in breach of FBI rules,
05:44they would have been able to raise those issues and have a really strong defense.
05:53Now, talk about the miscarriage of justice.
05:56That's a perfect example of people in the FBI doing a miscarriage of justice.
06:04By the way, I've heard from peeps, haven't heard a peep from my Democrat colleagues about Arctic Frost.
06:14During Trump's first term, then-ranking member Senator Feinstein of California,
06:21joined my investigation into the alleged Russian collusion,
06:27which we found such a collusion did not occur.
06:32No Democrats have asked me anything about Arctic Frost,
06:36even though I've shown them and the entire public internal FBI e-mails
06:43proving political rot in our top law enforcement agency.
06:52If you're afraid to follow the facts and to follow the evidence in this town,
06:58if you don't ask questions, you'll never have any credibility.
07:03The silence of my Democrat colleagues and the partisan medium speaks volumes.
07:13And the American people won't long forget that.
07:18And I'll end on this note.
07:21All of these internal FBI records about Arctic Frost that I've made public,
07:28well, I didn't get them from this administration.
07:32I got them from heroic whistleblowers.
07:36People in the bowels of the bureaucracy that know something's not right
07:40and they aren't getting the attention of the people that supervise,
07:44they eventually end up coming to this senator.
07:49Those whistleblowers have showed how the FBI
07:52and how the Department of Justice unfairly treated Trump
07:56and grasped at straws to build a case,
08:01any case, for their political gain.
08:04So as my investigation work continues,
08:09let me be sure to thank these brave whistleblowers
08:15who've helped this senator expose this political rot
08:20within our top law enforcement institutions.
08:25Exposure that's necessary to bring to light
08:30that which must be fixed for the benefit of our country
08:35and reestablishing the credibility of our FBI.
08:40I yield the floor.
