At a House Democratic press briefing on Tuesday, Rep. Pete Aguilar (D-CA) was asked if President Trump has done anything that could rise to a level of an impeachable offense.

00:00I want to ask about, you know, with the first 100 days, Leader Jeffries up here yesterday was talking about it being an all-hands-on-deck moment for Democrats.
00:08As you guys think about the next few weeks, can we expect to see more demonstrations like what we saw from Leader Jeffries on Sunday on the steps?
00:17Are you thinking of other perhaps unorthodox forms of protest around here?
00:22There will be public displays where we have our perspectives heard, but just reflecting on Sunday, I thought it was great that Senator Booker and Leader Jeffries, two people of faith on a Sunday, sitting and talking about the dangerous and reckless behavior of this administration and how it is un-American and makes life difficult for members of our community.
00:51I thought it was organic and a good testament to the good trouble that they were trained under in John Lewis.
00:59And I think that us Democrats look forward to exercising our viewpoints, maybe creating a little bit of good trouble and making our perspectives heard, but doing it together as a caucus family.
01:11I think we'll be working with Senate leadership as well, and we'll have plenty to say as a group moving forward in the next couple weeks.
01:24Yes, thank you.
01:25In the first 100 days, has the President done anything that rises to the level of impeachable offenses?
01:31What the President has done is he sought to erode the fabric of our country by stoking chaos, fear, division.
01:46This is not unlike behavior he has done in the past, but right now we will deal with the tools in front of us and the policies that he and House Republicans have placed forward,
01:59which are reckless cuts to the health care system, to our supplemental nutrition that is relied on by women and children and families across this country.
02:10Those are the policies that we're going to push back against, and those are the items that the American public is paying attention to.
02:20Impeachment is, at times, a tool that can be used.
02:25This President is no stranger to that.
02:27He's been impeached twice, but we don't have any confidence that House and Senate Republicans would do their jobs,
02:35and so this is not an exercise that we're willing to undertake.
