Did you notice that the Red Hulk in Captain America: Brave New World has less resistance than the traditional green Hulk?
Because if you pay close attention, when the military drones are attacking Red Hulk with those powerful machine guns, you can see that he tries to shield his face with his hand — because those bullets were doing more than just impacting his body.
They were causing small wounds, some bruises. And you can clearly see that in several scenes.
Yes, he’s invulnerable. The bullets can’t pierce him, not even the most powerful ones. But it’s clear they’re not just “tickling” him either.
Now, if we look at the Hulk in the first Avengers movie, we get proof of his real toughness. We saw jets shooting at him, and the bullets were literally bouncing off his green skin.
And not only that — he takes the hits head-on. He doesn’t even try to block them. He just charges into the gunfire and jumps onto the jet.
