00:00We had no idea where Janet Blunt was buried. We asked people and people to look at it as though
00:06we were from Myers and it wasn't until many many years there we discovered you know the tiny
00:12memorial way to the Blunt family and we were able to come and take pictures and present things at
00:22her church at her. Without her we would have nothing except what Sharp wrote and he only
00:28collected five dances or six dances and never never full descriptions and the way Sharp was he
00:35was too much influenced by other traditions he saw and therefore he tried to transfer some of those
00:41thoughts into the way that the Allaby dance was done. So his manuscripts are useful and helpful in
00:48many respects but Janet Blunt's were more descriptive and you could also argue more complex and so when
00:55Brian and I first got together over over it we got the Sharp and the Blunt manuscripts and we poured
01:01over them in my in my dining room in Manbury in 47th street and decided how we were going to dance every
01:08dance. When we started as I said we had no idea even Brian had no idea well if you had an idea where
01:15Janet Blunt was buried he never told us so here we are 50 years later uh 110 years since the old she died or more
01:30and let's remember someone who gave gave us so much as you don't know about it
01:38so take care of that softy Janet Blunt
