An 11-year-old boy met the organ donor who saved his life.
Ahmad Rai received part Nathan Howe's liver after the 42-year-old signed up to become a live donor.
Pastor Nathan from Kent, Ohio, has also given a kidney to his father - making him a rare dual live donor.
Ahmad was born with progressive familial intrahepatic cholestasis type 2 - a condition that affects how the liver processes bile - which causes it to build up in the liver.
He was placed on the transplant waiting list and in July 2024 got the donation from Nathan Howe.

00:00Hi. Hi. What's your name? Ahmad. Ahmad? Yeah. Good to meet you. When my mom got the call that there was a donor, I started jumping and I hugged my dad.
00:21You got a second chance of life because of your generosity. Five years ago now, my dad needed a kidney and I was able to give him one of my kidneys. So my dad has a kidney and we did that here at the Cleveland Clinic. I'm really grateful that I'm healthy enough to be able to do it. Thank you so much. Really appreciate it. I'm glad. I'm so glad to hear that it's worked out. Your donation makes a difference. Awesome.
