00:00What's wrong with running after an object?
00:03The simple answer is it's an inefficient investment of my resources.
00:08That's what is wrong.
00:09Nothing religious or spiritual or moral about it.
00:12Simple economics.
00:13Running after something is a very inefficient investment of my life, energy, time, resources.
00:19And that's what you see spirituality is.
00:22Life economics.
00:23We talk of material economics.
00:24You don't just have stuff in your wallet.
00:27You have stuff in your heartbeat.
00:30There is stuff in your wallet that is numbered and finite.
00:33Equally the number of heartbeats that you have are very finite.
00:38So spirituality is life economics.
00:39What to do with these limited number of heartbeats that you have?
00:44What to put your life into?
00:46If you put your life into desire, that's an inefficient investment.
00:50It does not give you what you want from it.
00:52The ROI is very bad.
00:53So you observe that.
00:55And that observance itself is liberation.
