00:00Our key bank of course is providing cost of living relief to people. So whether
00:04that's through tax cuts for every taxpayer, energy bill relief, reduction
00:10in price for the medicines, lots of different support there for people. But
00:15one of the big things that I really love for this area is our Batemans Bay
00:20Medicare urgent care clinic which is providing that free bulk billed urgent
00:26care but we're also going to extend the hours of it from 6 a.m. to midnight
00:32which will be the only urgent care clinic right across Australia with those
00:36extended hours. Things like the Moruya Mental Health Centre is just fantastic
00:43providing again that bulk billed walk-in service and of course we've got the
00:48funding of eight million dollars for a Uribudala radiation therapy service at
00:55the new Uribudala Regional Hospital. That's just gone out to tender so that's
01:01really exciting as well. I think some of the exciting things that we've got is
01:07really around transforming and helping lift people up. So I think the fair funding
01:13that we've got for every public school in Gilmore is really really important.
01:19We're really focused on our care sectors with the three-day guarantee for early
01:24childhood learning, fee-free TAFE for skill shortages shortage areas which is
01:30great because we need more tradies to be able to build more homes and of course
01:35we've got a university sector with people with a student debt we're actually
01:40slashing 20% off student debt. So we're really trying to provide that relief and
01:45really you know boost well located housing more social affordable rental
01:51housing more frontline worker accommodation which is really going to
01:55help. The new Uribudala Regional Hospital of course at the state level is going to
02:00be absolutely brilliant so I'm all about improving health services and
02:06infrastructure for people here. Well Andrew Constance has made no commitment to
02:11keeping the Batemans Bay emergency department open because he can't. The
02:16federal government has no jurisdiction over that at all. What I've done is made
02:22sure that we have a Batemans Bay Medicare urgent care clinic here in Batemans
02:26Bay. We've extended hours from 6 a.m. to midnight. The question is you know what
02:33is he going to cut? Will he keep the urgent care clinic open? Will he extend the
02:39office for hours? He's made no actual announcement or media release around that
02:45at all. Yeah so cost of living is a huge issue for people so that's why we've
02:50really worked to do what we can to provide some relief. So things like cheaper
02:55medicines is a really big one. We're reducing the cost of the maximum cost of a
03:00living relief measures as well. In terms of housing we're already seeing starting to
03:07see change in terms of the cost of living. We've got our energy bill relief
03:10that the Liberals I've got to say voted against all our cost of living relief measures as well. In terms of housing we're already seeing starting to see
03:16benefits of our housing Australia future fund here. So I expect to see a lot more
03:23really well located homes particularly social affordable rental housing, front line accommodation but that will really help provide relief for people.
