00:32Voters turned out today to elect 41 members to the House of Representatives in a snap general
00:38election that has captivated the nation. The eyes of the Caribbean and indeed the world are on the
00:45outcome as tensions run high and the future direction of the country hangs in the balance.
00:51Regarding today's proceedings for the most part a steady flow of people in various constituencies
00:59but a number of complaints by political candidates of voter bribery allegations. I can tell you that
01:06on island there are observers. The Caribbean Community Caricom has deployed an election
01:12observation mission to oversee the general elections to ensure people were able to cast their ballots
01:18without intimidation or harassment. A number of people shared why they voted.
01:23I want to see unity and the crime stop and togetherness love and why want to be why what I mostly
01:34work what today is they wipe away the race. Once a government who was ever who's ever been elected
01:41they're working for the people and that is what I want to see in this country.
01:45To stain my finger in order for a change to take place. I hope if the other side come into government
01:52that they take care of the people and they see about the people you understand and just not leave us with
01:58the promises. With the polls closed counting will commence and as results come in the only question
