Madeleine's 'Mars Bar Slice Phase' never really ended — it simply evolved into an Easter tradition. And this scrumptious video proves it.

"This is the stuff of my childhood and one of my favourite parts of Easter," Madeleine told WooGlobe.

She shared that anyone looking to recreate this delicious chocolate treat should start by melting Mars bars and butter together in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly.

"This can take 8–10 minutes, and you’ll see the butter separate from the chocolate," she explained. "Keep stirring until it fully combines and the nougat has melted. It should be smooth and gooey like slime.

"Next, add the mixture to the rice bubbles and combine well. Mould the mixture into egg shapes, dip them in melted chocolate, and place them in the fridge to set."

00:00Mars bar slice is something I've made since I was a tiny little kid and I think maybe I was a
00:06teenager when I started turning them into eggs for Easter and it's been something that we've
00:11done every year since and something now of a family tradition and something we all look forward
00:16to. It's the easiest recipe to make, I'll put the full recipe in the caption, just takes a little
00:22bit of time to turn them all into these little eggy shapes but totally worth it when you see
00:26that doesn't come together in their little egg carton. It's also something that I love to gift
00:31at Easter time. We're going to a friend's place on Easter Monday so I'll definitely be packing
00:36a dozen of eggs for their family. My brother always shows up when there's chocolate around, delicious.
