Taiwan's defense ministry says it spotted 29 Chinese military aircraft and 10 naval vessels operating near Taiwan in a 24-hour period leading up to Monday morning. The military also monitored a joint Chinese naval patrol near Taiwan, spotting four officials ships in the same period.

00:1016 of those aircraft entered Taiwan's Air Defense Identification Zone, or ADIZ.
00:15Now, this area is not Taiwan's airspace, but rather it serves as a defensive buffer zone.
00:20The military also spotted four official ships in that same period,
00:24while monitoring a Joint Naval Patrol near Taiwan.
00:27They also say a Chinese satellite launch on Sunday passed over central Taiwan, but it posed no threat.
