Killer Sofa is a horror-comedy film directed by Bernie Rao. The film centers around a possessed recliner that becomes a deadly force, terrorizing anyone who gets too close. When Francesca (Piimio Mei), a woman who is heartbroken after a breakup, brings the sofa into her apartment, strange and violent things begin to happen. The sofa, possessed by a malevolent spirit, begins to kill anyone who gets in its way. As the body count rises, a pair of detectives and a rabbi team up to uncover the secret behind the chair's evil powers.

The film mixes supernatural horror with humor, using the absurdity of a killer piece of furniture to create a unique experience.

00:03:54We'd like to ask you some questions about an acquaintance of yours.
00:03:57Frederico Olsen.
00:03:58Did he kill someone?
00:03:59This is my friend Maxi.
00:04:01She knows Frederico as well.
00:04:03So what happened?
00:04:05Maybe we should sit down.
00:04:08The neighbour found his dog playing with a human foot.
00:04:11That's how we identified the remains.
00:04:13The guy was a loony.
00:04:16One of those guys you just want to punch in the face, you know.
00:04:18Punching someone in the face is one thing.
00:04:21Cutting them into pieces is another.
00:04:23Did he try and contact you recently?
00:04:26No.
00:04:28I filed a restraining order against him about two years ago.
00:04:32Things got kind of out of hand.
00:04:35Frederico was very dedicated to me.
00:04:38Dedicated?
00:04:40The guy was obsessed.
00:04:42Francesca makes a habit of attracting weirdos.
00:04:44Maxi.
00:04:45They're not weirdos.
00:04:46They're just...
00:04:48Dedicated.
00:04:49Obsessed.
00:04:51I'm sorry, this is...
00:04:52This is so terrible.
00:04:54Hey, we've got to go.
00:04:55It's a recliner.
00:04:57Um...
00:04:59Sorry, we've got to go now.
00:05:01I'm having some furniture to work.
00:05:04Really? What kind of furniture?
00:05:06Um...
00:05:07A recliner.
00:05:09We may need to ask you some more questions.
00:05:11If that's okay.
00:05:13Sure.
00:05:15See ya.
00:05:17There's something about here, isn't there?
00:05:20I can see why they went crazy.
00:05:23I don't see it.
00:05:25I want to check out this restraining order.

00:06:37This happens all the time.

00:08:10It must have been the heat.
00:08:12Now, go.
00:08:29That guy is so annoying.
00:08:31Honestly, I don't know how you stand him.
00:08:34Yeah.
00:08:35How about we go down to your line?
00:08:36I just like him because he's not.
00:08:38Well, we can do it next time.
00:08:39Clay.
00:08:40Because we keep coming.
00:08:41You know he's gay, right?
00:08:46Yeah.

00:09:13That's pretty rad.
00:09:14Is that why you're upset?
00:09:15Of course it is.
00:09:16This is a horrible thing, TJ.
00:09:18Don't you think it's strange what happened?
00:09:19Not really.
00:09:20Me and Josh were in a cafe one time called the dude taking a photo of me.

00:10:16Okay, bye. Don't wait up for me.
00:10:39Oi, Grandad.
00:10:42Grandad.
00:10:44Jack.
00:10:47What's that?
00:10:49Oh, just something that happened at the shop.
00:10:53It's probably nothing.
00:10:55Hey, I was thinking about the shop.
00:10:58What do you reckon? I think we should create a page on your website where people can put the dimensions of the furniture that they want.
00:11:05That's important, Grandad, because people buy antiques mostly to decorate their house.
00:11:09The house is getting smaller, there's not enough space, so...
00:11:13You sure it was a debunk?
00:11:19Yes.
00:11:21Yeah, and a strong one as well.
00:11:24I saw a young woman running through a forest.
00:11:27Some people were chasing her. She was in danger.
00:11:32Jack, you know what this means?
00:11:37That you have the gift like your father.
00:11:39Okay, down the road.
00:11:40The two houses might get many other people who are dead?
00:11:41It's pretty dark, that you're actuallyaded through a stone.
00:11:43I'm stillCool.
00:11:45That's my friend.
00:11:47No, you're just eating a second.
00:11:51Yes, I'm European.
00:11:54Let's get started.
00:12:24Lexi, what are you doing?
00:12:36You told me to come over.
00:12:41Are you okay?
00:12:43Yeah.
00:12:44I just felt like there was somebody else here.
00:12:53What's it smell?
00:12:55Oh shit, the popcorn.
00:13:23You're a jealous lover?
00:13:33Maybe.
00:13:34With a secret.
00:13:38Well, collect cars and collect your secrets.
00:13:42You might have to close the store.
00:13:45Why?
00:13:46There's too many debts.
00:13:49The antique business isn't really doing so well and I've been trying to get some jobs on the side but it's not really cutting it.
00:13:56You should focus on your music, Lexi.
00:13:59I see.
00:14:00You're really talented.
00:14:02I'm ready to get your mother.
00:14:04I'm ready.
00:14:05One day when we get married.
00:14:09It's beautiful.
00:14:11But they can't accept it.
00:14:20Thanks for coming over, Lexi.
00:14:22Stop thinking about Frederico, okay?
00:14:25What happened to him was not your fault.
00:14:29You're good.
00:14:30Okay.
00:14:36Okay.
00:14:37Bye.
00:14:51To be continued...
00:15:21No!
00:15:23No! No!
00:15:25No!
00:15:51No!
00:16:21No!
00:16:51No!
00:17:21No!
00:17:51No!
00:18:11As you know that the book is a powerful spirit that feeds on the living.
00:18:16First thing to remember is never touch it.
00:18:19If you have touched a book, you have established a connection and opened a door to allow the beast to enter your body and your mind.
00:18:30If you have touched a book, you may soon experience strange health problems such as hives, coughing up blood, head to toe welts, crushing chest pains, paralyzing headaches.
00:18:44Don't even attempt to face with the book unless you are in perfect health, physically and especially mentally.
00:18:51For it is the weak-willed mind that will first succumb to the spirits, flirtations and manipulations.
00:19:01Be careful.
00:19:02Be careful.
00:19:03TJ?
00:19:04What are you saying?
00:19:05I am.
00:19:06I am.
00:19:07Well, I'm serious.
00:19:08If you're trying to be concerned, I am.
00:19:09TJ?
00:19:39To be continued...
00:20:09Okay, what was that for?
00:20:23For understanding a girl's needs.
00:20:26Huh, okay.
00:20:28You didn't make yourself anything though.
00:20:30I'll do it.
00:20:32Cereal?
00:20:33Yeah, sure.
00:20:34What did you get up to last night?
00:20:46I just stayed at home with Maxie.
00:20:49I was really sad about Frederico, you know.
00:20:52I even had nightmares.
00:20:55Oh, okay.
00:20:56Are you okay?
00:21:02Yeah, just a little more drunk than I thought.
00:21:10And you still had time to bake cookies for me.
00:21:14Yeah, yeah, for sure.
00:21:16You still have time to bake cookies for me.
00:21:29Yeah.
00:21:30Yeah.
00:21:30Yeah.
00:21:31Yeah.
00:21:31Yeah.
00:21:32Yeah, yeah.
00:21:33Yeah.
00:21:38Yeah.
00:22:08What a freak.
00:22:21Did you know Federico was into Voodoo?
00:22:24And that he even had a blog?
00:22:26He had a lot of phases, Inspector, I'm not sure.
00:22:30Have you been feeling okay health-wise?
00:22:35Yes.
00:22:37Why do you ask?
00:22:38Just asking, that's all.
00:22:41We saw that you had filed restraining orders against some of these men in the past.
00:22:46We also see in each restraining order you seem to provide a different address.
00:22:52The only constant thing in my life is my dancing and my friend Maxie.
00:22:57Look, I know what you're thinking.
00:23:04I know this looks strange and it is very strange.
00:23:08See, ever since I can remember I've had this effect on men and sometimes women.
00:23:16But men especially just seem to get very attached to me.
00:23:23You mean they become obsessed with you?
00:23:27Yes.
00:23:28I already told you this.
00:23:29So have you had romantic relationships with these men?
00:23:32With some of them.
00:23:34With some of them.
00:23:35But Federico?
00:23:37No, we were just friends.
00:23:39Of course he wanted more.
00:23:43They always want more.
00:23:44Did any of these men ever show violent behaviour?
00:23:46I don't know.
00:23:48What do you mean by violent behaviour?
00:23:51Did they ever slap you or punch you?
00:23:55Yeah, I guess.
00:23:57You guess?
00:23:59You know how it goes in the bedroom sometimes.
00:24:02Things get a little violent.
00:24:05But it's okay.
00:24:06Francesca, violence is never okay.
00:24:09Did you ever report any of those incidents?
00:24:11No, not, I don't mean that sort of violence.
00:24:14I mean the sort of violence that happens when there's sexual tension.
00:24:23Like I said, I've always had this effect on men.
00:24:28It's like they go crazy for me or something.
00:24:31Well, what about your current partner?
00:24:36TJ?
00:24:37No.
00:24:38He's somehow immune to me.
00:24:42Sexually, I mean.
00:24:43But it's a good thing.
00:24:47He's gay.
00:24:52I just don't want people to get hurt anymore, Inspector.
00:24:55Good dog.
00:25:02Good one.
00:25:08Get the dog.
00:25:11Get the dog.
00:25:17Oh, yeah.
00:25:19Get the dog.
00:25:25That was all.
00:25:26Oh, my God.
00:25:56Oh, fuck!
00:26:03Oh, fuck!
00:26:06You know, and she's running around.
00:26:12She never stops screaming.
00:26:14Every time she sees the baddie, it's screaming.
00:26:16That's awful.
00:26:18It's the same thing I've seen for years and years and years.
00:26:21It's just crap, basically.
00:26:24It's the lead actor.
00:26:26TJ, what is it? I can't talk now.
00:26:28I just hated him.
00:26:30What?
00:26:32TJ!
00:26:34Oh, my God!
00:26:36Oh, my God.
00:26:38Oh, my God.
00:26:40What?
00:26:42Fuck!
00:26:44Oh, my God.
00:26:46Oh, my God.
00:26:50Ah!
00:27:04Mark you!
00:27:10What do you think?
00:27:20What?
00:27:24Shalom Abba.
00:27:26No, what do you want?
00:27:28I think I found a Dibbuk.
00:27:30You are not prepared.
00:27:34Abba!
00:27:36Abba, listen to me.
00:27:38Feel what these matters.
00:27:40You're dealing with things that you don't understand.
00:27:44Abba, I'm your son. I have the gift.
00:27:46You don't have the gift.
00:27:48You don't even have the right to call yourself a rabbi.
00:27:50Oh, here we go again.
00:27:52We've talked about this already.
00:27:54I'm more than capable of doing what we need to do.
00:27:57People will get hurt if you try to intervene.
00:28:02Oh...
00:28:04Abba, I think the Dibbuk will try to do...
00:28:08Let it do what it has to do.
00:28:10Let other people deal with it.
00:28:13Just...
00:28:14Just to get out of their way.
00:28:16How do you turn this thing off?
00:28:28So he's gonna be okay?
00:28:30He keeps saying the recliner's possessed.
00:28:32I really don't know what's gotten into him.
00:28:34Maxie, there's someone behind you.
00:28:36Hi Ashanti.
00:28:40It's my grandad's new girlfriend.
00:28:46So where's TJ staying?
00:28:48It's mom's.
00:28:50She just lives three houses down the street.
00:28:52Mom!
00:29:06Mom!
00:29:08Mom!
00:29:10Mom!
00:29:12Mom!
00:29:14Mom!
00:29:16Mom!
00:29:18Mom!
00:29:20Mom!
00:29:22Mom!
00:29:23Mom!
00:29:24Mom!
00:29:25Mom!
00:29:26Mom!
00:29:27Mom!
00:29:28Mom!
00:29:29Mom!
00:29:30Mom!
00:29:31Mom!
00:29:32Mom!
00:29:33Mom!
00:29:34Mom!
00:29:35Mom!
00:29:36Mom!
00:29:37Mom!
00:29:38Mom!
00:29:39Mom!
00:29:40Mom!
00:29:41Mom!
00:29:42Hmm.
00:29:44Hmm.
00:29:46Hmm.
00:30:12Hmm.
00:30:14Hmm.
00:30:16Ah!
00:30:18Ah!
00:30:19Foo!
00:30:33Ah!
00:30:34A Dabuk must feed on the souls of its victims to get stronger.
00:30:50Those who have come across a Dabuk feeding speak of a lingering putrid smell of burnt
00:30:57flesh in the air.
00:30:58They found burn marks on walls and on ceilings, pointing to extremely powerful electrical
00:31:04currents, produced in the transition of an unwilling soul to a demonic Dabuk.
00:31:11Whatever you do, never interrupt the feeding process, as the soul you were trying to save
00:31:18has already been domed.
00:31:24Close your eyes.
00:31:29Feel yourself going back.
00:31:34What do you see?
00:31:43Divergent.
00:31:51Use your senses.
00:31:56Use all of them.
00:31:59Focus, Jack. Focus.
00:32:01-
00:32:08Mark.
00:32:14Fisher.
00:32:18Clark.
00:32:19Music.
00:32:19One-ா.
00:32:24Music.
00:32:24Music.
00:32:24Music.
00:32:24Music.
00:32:24Okay.
00:32:25Music.
00:32:27Music.
00:32:28Music.
00:32:28Music.
00:32:29Music.
00:32:30Music.
00:32:31Oh
00:32:53Oh
00:33:01She poisoned someone, that's why they were chasing her, but why did she kill herself?
00:33:24We need to find out where that recliner is.
00:33:27Tomorrow morning we'll call every delivery company in the city if we have to.
00:33:32Whoever has that recliner is in great danger.
00:33:57Who's there?
00:34:04I don't know.
00:34:10I don't know.
00:34:13I don't know.
00:34:43I don't know.
00:35:13I don't know.
00:35:43I don't know.
00:36:13I don't know.
00:36:43Why didn't you go to TJ's?
00:36:58I rang the doorbell and nobody answered.
00:37:00Hey.
00:37:01Hey.
00:37:02Please don't make me go up there, Maxi.
00:37:06We'll just take a look, okay?
00:37:08Take a look, okay?
00:37:09Well, it's not moving now.
00:37:15Can we go to your place?
00:37:16I don't want to stay here tonight.
00:37:22Well, it's not moving now.
00:37:23Can we go to your place?
00:37:32I don't want to stay here tonight.
00:37:39TJ, honey.
00:37:40I've got to clean your room.
00:37:46TJ, honey.
00:37:47I've got to clean your room.
00:37:53TJ, honey.
00:37:54I've got to clean your room.
00:38:00TJ, honey.
00:38:01I've got to clean your room.
00:38:07I don't need to clean your room.
00:38:08I don't need to clean your room.
00:38:09I'll take a look.
00:38:14I don't know.
00:38:44Hey, Francesca.
00:39:02Ralph!
00:39:03I'm really sorry.
00:39:05I have to go.
00:39:06Have you thought about what I asked?
00:39:12I told you, I can't marry you, Ralph.
00:39:14I've got a boyfriend.
00:39:15Um, Maxie told me about TJ.
00:39:17Horrible thing.
00:39:19He has weak bones.
00:39:21I have strong bones.
00:39:23But make strong babies.
00:39:25Babies?
00:39:26I'm too young for babies, Ralph.
00:39:28I'm sorry.
00:39:30You couldn't let me in, Francesca.
00:39:37Hello, Maxie.
00:39:38It's Inspector Gravy speaking.
00:39:40Can you come down to the police station, please?
00:39:44Francesca really needs your help.
00:39:46Francesca.
00:39:47Francesca.
00:39:48When TJ was dying, he left a message.
00:39:55You know what I think?
00:39:57I think he left this message for you.
00:39:59I think he left this message for you.
00:40:01I think he left this message for you.
00:40:03Do you think he was trying to write Francesca?
00:40:05I think Frederico and TJ's deaths are related.
00:40:10This list you gave us.
00:40:12I think Frederico and TJ's deaths are related.
00:40:16You think one of them did this?
00:40:18Perhaps.
00:40:19Who?
00:40:20You tell me.
00:40:21Who would you say, hypothetically, of course,
00:40:23is capable of doing something like this?
00:40:25I think he left this message for you.
00:40:27Do you think he was trying to write Francesca?
00:40:29I think Frederico and TJ's deaths are related.
00:40:32This list you gave us.
00:40:34You think one of them did this?
00:40:36Perhaps.
00:40:37Who?
00:40:38You tell me.
00:40:40Who would you say, hypothetically, of course,
00:40:43is capable of doing something like this?
00:40:45Yep.
00:41:00My cousin Ralph.
00:41:03Remember that rubber glove they found at Frederico's place?
00:41:08We've got a match.
00:41:10Warren Lee.
00:41:12Criminal record.
00:41:13Yep.
00:41:14I think this could be a two-man job.
00:41:17Finally.
00:41:18Things are starting to make some sense.
00:41:20When they have a match.
00:41:21I don't know.
00:41:22But they're the same sense.
00:41:23No.
00:41:24Yeah.
00:41:25Is there anything?
00:41:26No.
00:41:27Yeah.
00:41:28No.
00:41:29Yeah.
00:41:30How are you?
00:41:31No.
00:41:32I don't know.
00:41:33So, here we go.
00:42:03Here we go.
00:42:33Here we go.
00:43:03Here we go.
00:43:33Here we go.

00:45:11Here we go.
00:45:13Here we go.
00:45:23Here we go.
00:45:26I'll be back soon.
00:45:28Maxie, do you mind just passing through mine and seeing if the recliner's okay?
00:45:33What?
00:45:34Please.
00:45:36You're hurting me.
00:45:38I just need to know that the recliner's okay.
00:45:41Are you okay?
00:45:46It's my sister's birthday.
00:45:49I should give her a call.
00:45:53Yeah.
00:45:55That's a great idea.
00:46:04You should go home to your wife, Gravy.
00:46:07She left me two weeks ago.
00:46:11Took the kids with her.
00:46:14This time it's for real.
00:46:19Gravy the pressure cooker.
00:46:21You need to let some steam out.
00:46:29Do you want to come back to my place?
00:46:31Drink some wine?
00:46:33Or blow off some steam?
00:46:34What do you reckon?
00:46:37No.
00:46:39Thanks. I think I should stay here and do some work.
00:46:43Huh.
00:46:46Yeah.
00:46:48Must be a popular model.
00:46:49You know that friend you're always hanging out with, um, what's her name?
00:46:57Who, Francesca?
00:46:58No.
00:46:59Oh.
00:47:00I told you it wasn't Patricia.
00:47:01Oh.
00:47:02Who's Patricia?
00:47:03I don't have time to explain right now, Maxie, but your friend is in great danger.
00:47:08That recliner she bought is possessed.
00:47:13Maxie!
00:47:14I knew there was something wrong with that recliner.
00:47:16She hasn't been herself since she got it.
00:47:18Well, we need it.
00:47:19There's no time to lose.
00:47:21We've gotta go get it.
00:47:23Get it!
00:47:25Stay with him, Ashanti.
00:47:26I'll go.
00:47:27No, no, no.
00:47:28It's too dangerous.
00:47:48Go.
00:47:50Go.
00:47:51Go.
00:48:18I don't know.
00:48:48I don't know.
00:49:18I don't know.
00:49:48I don't know.
00:50:18I don't know.
00:50:48I don't know.
00:51:18I don't know.
00:51:48I heard someone saying the name Valerie out of the drain.
00:51:51How long have you been taking these?
00:51:53I've been taking those pills for years.
00:51:56You said before you were worried about Maxie.
00:51:59Yeah, she left like two hours ago and she's still not back.
00:52:03Okay, okay.
00:52:04Just settle down.
00:52:05We're going to go there now.
00:52:06Make sure she's okay.
00:52:09You can even come with us if you want.
00:52:19Maxie!
00:52:19Maybe she left already.
00:52:28I left her car outside.
00:52:30These are Maxie's keys.
00:52:44You try calling her?
00:52:46Try again.
00:52:47Who's in the door?
00:52:55Help me.
00:52:55You're just going to go there.
00:52:57Surely I can break.
00:52:57I can't break.
00:52:58I can break.
00:52:58I can't break.
00:52:59You're just going to go.
00:53:00You're just going to go there.
00:53:01It stinks here.
00:53:23Oh, God.
00:53:31Oh, Valérie, Valérie, Valérie.
00:53:50Valérie, Valérie.
00:54:08This is bad, Gravy.
00:54:24Valérie.
00:54:38Valérie, Valérie.
00:54:52Valérie.
00:54:54Valérie.
00:54:58Valérie.
00:55:12Francesca, this is Maxie's grandfather.
00:55:32We have to talk.
00:55:42We have to talk.
00:56:12What do you think happened to Maxie?
00:56:17I don't know, but she's strong.
00:56:20She's very strong.
00:56:23So, can you help me?
00:56:28I'll give it a try.
00:56:31Why am I seeing these dead people?
00:56:35Sometimes fragments of souls linger in this world.
00:56:38Then perhaps they're trying to tell you something or do something.
00:56:43In this voice I keep hearing, it says Valerie.
00:56:47But who is Valerie?
00:56:50Valerie.
00:56:52Valerie and Gerard, of course.
00:56:55Here it is.
00:56:57Valerie and Gerard Collette.
00:56:58They were a French couple who lived in Akaroa in the 1800s.
00:57:02And they practiced witchcraft.
00:57:05Gerard and Valerie were demonic soul eaters.
00:57:08They used the highly toxic petals of nerium oleander to poison their victims.
00:57:15They were found out and chased by a mob.
00:57:18Gerard was killed, burned alive.
00:57:20But Valerie committed suicide in front of a peasant woman named Marie St. Clair.
00:57:27That's my great-grandmother Marie.
00:57:30Marie suffered from hallucinations.
00:57:33She claimed she had been possessed by Valerie's spirit.
00:57:36After she became the centre of fights between men in the village who blindly fought for her love on several occasions to the death,
00:57:47she joined a monastery and lived in isolation until she passed in 1876.
00:57:53Both Valerie and Gerard had the power to ignite obsessive devotion from whoever crossed their path.
00:58:00That's exactly what happens to me.
00:58:03But that's because Valerie is living inside of you.
00:58:06You see, Dibbos can move from generation to generation, especially within the same family.
00:58:13She was fully awakened by the presence of Gerard.
00:58:17They simply want to be together again.
00:58:20Gerard's in the recliner.
00:58:22Yeah.
00:58:23Somehow a portal was opened and Gerard inhabited the recliner.
00:58:28It was Federico.
00:58:29He was obsessed with the occult and the detective said he was into voodoo.
00:58:36But something's still not right here.
00:58:39You see, a Dibbos always needs a human body to cling to.
00:58:44And if Valerie is clinging to you,
00:58:48then Gerard would be clinging to Federico.
00:58:52But...
00:58:53Federico was cut into little pieces.
00:58:58He's dead.
00:58:59Yeah, it's a mystery, all right.
00:59:03Okay, here's our plan.
00:59:06One, we build two Dibbos boxes.
00:59:11Two, we put the Dibbos into the boxes.
00:59:18Three, we burn the boxes.
00:59:22Three, we burn the boxes.
00:59:22Three, we burn the boxes.
00:59:23Three, we burn the boxes.
00:59:23Three, we burn the boxes.
00:59:24Three, we burn the boxes.
00:59:24Three, we burn the boxes.
00:59:25Three, we burn the boxes.
00:59:25Three, we burn the boxes.
00:59:26Three, we burn the boxes.
00:59:27Three, we burn the boxes.
00:59:28Three, we burn the boxes.
00:59:29Three, we burn the boxes.
00:59:30Three, we burn the boxes.
00:59:31Three, we burn the boxes.
00:59:32Three, we burn the boxes.
00:59:33Three, we burn the boxes.
00:59:34Three, we burn the boxes.
00:59:35Three, we burn the boxes.
00:59:36Three, we burn the boxes.
00:59:37Three, we burn the boxes.
00:59:38Three, we burn the boxes.
00:59:39Three, we burn the boxes.
00:59:40Three, we burn the boxes.
00:59:41Three, we burn the boxes.
00:59:42Oh, my God.
01:00:12Oh, my God.
01:00:42Oh, my God.
01:01:12Oh, my God.
01:01:42Rabbi, what is it Rabbi, how can I help?
01:02:08Okay. I'll call for help.
01:02:16Jack! It's an emergency. I need an ambulance.
01:02:24Why were you trying to leave the country, Warren?
01:02:27Look, I saw Fidriq on the news and I freaked out.
01:02:30Did you kill him? No, I didn't kill him.
01:02:32But you were at his house? Yes.
01:02:34Why were you doing that? He asked me to cut his legs off.
01:02:37Why?
01:02:51I don't know why. I just thought the less I know the better.
01:02:54But you're a veterinarian, Warren. You're not even a surgeon.
01:02:57Look, I left him alive, yeah? It's not like I left him bleeding out.
01:03:02I sutured him up and I gave him some drugs.
01:03:05I figured the guy would go to hospital, eventually.
01:03:11Look, I even got him to sign a contract to say if anything happened, I wouldn't be held responsible.
01:03:27You think this means anything?
01:03:29I don't know. Look, I know what I did was wrong, but if it wasn't him...
01:03:33Here's how it's gonna work.
01:03:35You take us to where the body is and we'll get you a deal.
01:03:37I already told you I didn't kill him!
01:03:39And how do you even know he's dead? Have you even found a body?
01:03:44Well, here we are, detective. Ralph Kilkelly's apartment.
01:03:49Couldn't believe it when I saw him on the news. Horrible thing.
01:03:54Yeah, he was an odd bloke. Not much for talking. Always paid his rent though. Never late.
01:04:02I had to imagine such a thing could happen in New Zealand.
01:04:10Why do you think he wanted you to cut his legs off, Warren? Was there something wrong with his legs?
01:04:14The guy was into some... some weird stuff, man. I don't know.
01:04:20All he told me was that it was urgent, he didn't have much time, he was desperate to get the legs off.
01:04:27Oh yeah, he installed the CCTV cameras in our building.
01:04:32He did a store that specialised in that sort of thing.
01:04:35This is Francesca Morton's apartment.
01:04:43It's been recorded.
01:04:45He was one of those guys, you know. He wasn't all there. He was somewhere else.
01:04:49Somewhere else.
01:04:50You better give us something soon, Warren.
01:05:00Oh god, he was spying on her.
01:05:08What the hell is that?
01:05:10He was dead.
01:05:18I'll be damned.
01:05:19I'll be damned.
01:05:40Get into the box!
01:05:42Right now!
01:05:43Get in the box!
01:05:50Get in the box!
01:05:51Get in the box!
01:06:00Please! Just get into the box!
01:06:03I won't!
01:06:04Hey!
01:06:06I won't do it!
01:06:18I won't do it!
01:06:19You won't do it!
01:06:20Oh, my God!
01:06:22I won't do it!
01:06:23I don't know.
01:06:53I don't know.
01:07:23You're not going to believe me.
01:07:37Try me.
01:07:38I think you want to be able to fit inside a...
01:07:42What, Warren?
01:07:44A recliner.
01:07:45I don't know.

01:10:19Where have you been?
01:10:22What happened to you?
01:10:24Frederico was inside the recliner.
01:10:27Are you okay?
01:10:31It's over.
01:10:37So you decided to keep it after all?
01:10:53I need to stop running, Inspector.
01:10:56I have to say, this is a very unusual tea.
01:11:05It's nice, but it has a very unusual flavour.
01:11:10Would you like some more, Inspector?
01:11:13Yes, please.
01:11:14Yes, please.
01:11:20I'm sorry.

01:11:34No.
01:11:35Great.
01:11:36Just completed the autopsy of Frederico Morton.
01:11:39Date of death in the file is incorrect.
01:11:40What do you mean, incorrect?
01:11:41It was two days ago I was there.
01:11:42Well, the body I've got here has been decomposing for at least two weeks.
01:11:45You're absolutely sure?
01:11:46Yep.
01:11:47This body's been dead for weeks.
01:11:49Yep.
01:11:50The body I've got here has been decomposing for at least two weeks.
01:11:53You're absolutely sure?
01:11:55Yep.
01:11:56This body's been dead for weeks.
01:12:19It's not unusual for a Dubuque, after he's done with a human, to use the human carcass to store souls.
01:12:32If the carcass becomes unusable, the souls will be transferred to the nearest object until the perfect host body can be found.
01:12:49And I just say, you're looking ravishing tonight, Francesca.
01:12:58Thank you, Inspector.
01:12:59Please.
01:13:00Call me Gravy.
01:13:02Say, you didn't bring your pistol this evening, did you?
01:13:06I will never bring a gun to a date.
01:13:09Let it go, Gravy.

01:15:34I need an ambulance.
01:15:36And police.
01:15:41Emergency services, are you there?
01:15:44If you get fooled by the Dubuque's apparent passive behavior, then you've already lost.
01:15:54So choose your battles wisely, as the demon is a formidable adversary, and never, ever underestimate the seducing power of the beast.

01:17:17It's cold, it's cold, it's cold, and I'm painting you by the flame of a candle burning itself in vain.

01:17:40His lips have just painted red.
01:17:46When this lover admired the beauty, the finesse of his neck, took me hours to perfect.

01:18:12You're high, you're cold, in mountains and rivers.
