Fast bowler Prasidh Krishna has spoken about the art of death bowling in the Indian Premier League. Prasidh explained that the use of saliva has having a big impact in the final overs of the match.

00:00Hi, Prasid. First of all, congratulations on the great start for you and your team.
00:05My first question to you would be about the use of saliva on the ball.
00:09The return of that system has kind of helped you in the latter end of the innings particularly.
00:14So, could you delve in on it and give your opinion like how that has actually helped your game or in IPL in general?
00:24Yeah, I think it has played a bit of a part because if you look at what the ball does with the saliva on it,
00:29even if it means that one out of the 120 balls stares in a little more, that means you get a wicket.
00:35That's an extra dot ball and if that happens at a crucial stage when the right batsman gets out,
00:41that means you slow down the run rate of the team, you get the momentum back.
00:45So, it has a chain reaction kind of a thing and it's definitely helped us bowlers the game today.
