Succeeding Jurgen Klopp at Anfield was supposed to be the impossible job, but not for Arne Slot.

00:00Job done. I love you all. I love everything about the club, but it's time for me to go.
00:06Jurgen Levy, he leaves a big gap.
00:09Anybody taking over from Klopp at the minute has a huge task ahead of him.
00:15Slott has an opportunity then just to build on Liverpool's legacy.
00:18There are big shoes to fill, but you can also look at it in a way that you inherit a squad and a team that has a winning culture.
00:25The past has shown that there is a possibility for Liverpool to win some trophies.
00:30I'm so happy that they do so well. That's what I was hoping for.
00:38The biggest compliment I could pay on Slott is to have a miss Jurgen.
00:41Jurgen is a tremendous manager who fought Liverpool back on the top table again.
00:48That's not 0.01% that I think, oh my God, I should still be there. Not at all.
00:55I'm more than happy not to be there because they are doing so well.
01:01Arne had an almost impossible job to take over with Klopp doing such a great job.
01:06And where the club were in terms of competing in every competition and he sort of merged into it like it's not happened.
01:13He's been a great appointment. Everything I hear about him is positive. And when you see the performances on the field being as positive as they are, then they got the right man.
01:23The manager and the coaches that came in have been, you know, a breath of fresh air. I think they came in with their ideas, said it to the players.
01:31I think we've all bought into it. I think we've all really enjoyed it.
01:35He didn't turn up with sort of arrogance where he wants to say, right, it's my way or the highway. You know, I think he's done it in a very nice, subtle way.
01:42Between Arne and Jurgen, the principles are the same. I don't think there's a huge difference. I just think that now we have more of a structure and some patterns that we know or we are trying to improve.
01:56It's always been my philosophy since I've been a manager to try to win the game in the end. But it's definitely also that our players have this same mentality long, long, long before I came here.
02:08So it's probably also the mentality of the club, the mentality of the players. Maybe that's also one of the reasons why they brought me in.
