Transcript
00:00I've just arrived back to my hotel in Sydney's CBD. This morning the Labour
00:04travelling press pack were out in Western Sydney. We went to Parramatta Town Hall
00:08where the Prime Minister held a Labour rally. There were about 300 people in
00:12attendance so the room was pretty packed. A lot of them wearing red Labour t-shirts
00:16and holding up signs that said ALBO and had other Labour slogans on them.
00:20Eventually the Prime Minister made his way to the stage. He gave about a 30
00:23minute speech in which he covered a lot of ground but of course Medicare was the
00:27main feature. As you can expect he held up his Medicare card. He also told
00:31supporters about 1-800-Medicare. That's Labour's revamped telehealth hotline
00:36where people can speak to GPs and registered nurses after hours. All in
00:40all the Prime Minister seemed really confident and upbeat in his speech but
00:44as we know things in elections can change at any moment so the Prime
00:48Minister as well as the opposition leader will be doing everything they can over
00:51the next few days to win votes ahead of May 3.
