00:00Okay, so just be prepared for that around McAllister and again, within any of the storms, the environment is favorable that we could get some quick spin ups in here. So we do have to watch that as a possibility. We'll pan farther here back to the north and make sure I take the zoom option off. And again, there's our tornado warning kind of embedded here within this bowing segment.
00:21And this is pushing into the western sides of Pittsburgh County right now, a severe thunderstorm warning going until 1230 in the morning for much of Pittsburgh County, up for 70 mile per hour wind gusts as it's moving to the east northeast at about 30 miles per hour. Closer in, we do have these two tornado warnings just going up to the border of the Fox 23 viewing area. A few pockets of circulation in particular right here. We note this one to the southeast of Calvin.
00:51Not particularly strong, a bit broad, but we're also looking pretty far from a radar site. So we're not getting right to the surface of what we're seeing right there. So the National Weather Service in the Tulsa area is extending this as a severe thunderstorm warning for high wind concerns primarily in the storm.
01:07So the wind's out of the southwest, mainly out of the southwest right now. I think the circulation's right there in front of us here off 52 or might be just, uh, yeah, right now. So the winds are probably about 25 to 30. They're not real strong. It's very eerie.
01:31It's a big mess here, folks. So we're going to, as far as the radar goes, but we want to, we want to zoom in on Paul because we're still tracking the center of that circulation.
01:47Let me put up the velocity again, and it's now moved here. Uh, so as we track that, as we track the center of circulation, I mean, this is a pretty impressive velocity coupling right over Morris.
02:10If you live in Morris, you've got a tornado warning right at your backyard, and you need to be taking shelter now. Pumpkin Center up to Ball Hill. This storm is moving in your direction, and you see the velocity couplet right there. That's the tornado right over Morris right now as it moves to the northeast at about 20 miles an hour.
02:30Uh, this is the only tornado warning we've had so far, uh, this evening in the News Channel 8 viewing area, but it probably won't be the last, uh, because as I mentioned, uh, areas just south of Tulsa County and east of Tulsa County, all the way to the Arkansas border.
02:45Once again, see a few spots of rotation rainfall amounts have totaled up over four inches in portion of Okafuskie County, two and a half to three inches in Okafuskie over the last few days, Tulsa about over an inch and a half.
02:58And we do have a new tornado warning now, and that is going to take us, uh, down into, uh, Pittsburgh County. So we were concerned about that circulation coming out of Southern Hughes County.
03:08National Weather Service in Tulsa continuing that. Now it does include Nicalister, and this warning will take us, uh, until, uh, let's see here, 1245.
03:16So 1245, you need to be moving to your shelter in the western and southern portions of Pittsburgh County.
03:23Uh, this is the line of storms and embedded rotation within that. We'll jump over to the velocity here.
03:28Once again, we're kind of looking. This is the storm that we're talking about. Sequoia is going to have a view. That's over the depot right now.
03:36And so the west side of the depot. And so the circulation feature showing up right in here, there's another one right up in there.
03:43So there's a, there's a couple of what's going on here. Very turbulent line right across this area.
03:49So not too far from around the rock Creek area to Stewart. So this is the, uh, tornado warning area.
03:55So rock Creek, and then back to the east strong winds on the north associated with part of that line of storms.
04:01This is all the way from now Morris and then extending back through McIntosh County with rain, thunderstorms, and wind.
04:08And then that goes down now to our tornado warning area. That's going to take us into McAllister at this point.
04:14Uh, so this, uh, with this tornado warning, uh, we are looking at, uh, conditions, uh, that are radar indicated at this point.
04:22Uh, so that is going to be for Western portions of Pittsburgh County.
04:27Perhaps that's hopefully that helps us a little bit.
04:30It looks like there's a circulation right about in here around the Stewart rock Creek area.
04:35And, uh, let's go ahead and take a look and track this.
04:39What's the speed on this one, Brandon?
04:4130 as well. Okay.
04:43So I'm going to go ahead and do a quick, uh, track here with this.
04:46And it's kind of a broad area here, uh, rotation.
04:49So I am going to pick this particular track instead of the, uh, triangle track.
04:54And let's just kind of take this general area here with this rotation,
04:57track that off to the east, north, east at about 30 miles per hour.
05:01And, uh, try that again, uh, didn't take it there.
05:05Let's try to your life.
05:09If you do have a tornado, this mobile homes are not built to withstand, uh, torn out of damage.
05:14So if you do live in Morris right now, there's, uh, portions of, uh,
05:18Okwulgee County are under that tornado warning, uh, until 1215.
05:23If we zoom in a little bit more than we're a little bit far away from the Tulsa, uh,
05:27from the Tulsa radar right now, but it looks like this, this velocity couplet may have lost a little bit of its rotation here over the last radar scan.
05:36Uh, so we can hope that that will maybe look at swollen up into itself.
05:39Uh, but, uh, whether, whether or not we're getting a tornado right now, uh, is, uh, uh, is obviously.
05:45Uh, 10, 11 o'clock, just know that there will still be some storms.
05:50They're still lingering as the storm system falls out of here.
05:53Real quick, one last time.
05:54We'll go back out to Michael Armstrong.
05:56Michael, what do you think?
05:58Yeah.
05:59Uh, right now, David, uh, still there's a, just watch the vehicle go past me and they have no taillights.
06:07Um, it doesn't look like, I don't know if they have their headlights on or not.
06:12Occasionally we see that listed on a night like this.
06:15That's, that's even more dangerous.
06:17I mean, that's tough.
06:18You know, anytime.
06:19We see that sometimes whenever it's dry outside, but on a night like this, when it's stormy,
06:24that, that could be a recipe for disaster.
06:28Um, someone may not be able to see you and may not be able to see the roadway very clear
06:33as well either.
06:34So not really sure exactly what was happening there with that situation.
06:38Um, that was up in front of us, but you can see the water again, splashing up off the
06:42roads.
06:43We've got trailers, got 18 wheelers coming by us and, you know, there's just road spray
06:47coming up at times.
06:48Um, very, very tricky.
06:50And I gotta tell you, this is an area that we haven't even seen any flooding really here
06:55along I-44.
06:56So, uh, we'll continue to work our way around here in Oklahoma city.
07:00Um, and at this moment, I think that things will improve, but there's a lot of
07:08there's still going to be these little situations where not the best as far as just trying to
07:13get around like you normally would.
07:16So probably need to slow down a little bit.
07:18Be very cautious when you're going to pass vehicles, especially high profile vehicles
07:22and trailers.
07:23Uh, you know, 18 wheelers can put up, I mean, they can really splash a lot of water in these
07:30situations.
07:31And if you're right next to one, um, your visibility can go to nothing instantly.
07:35Um, I don't, I don't want to make too much of that because I don't think it's, you know,
07:39it's going to be a widespread thing that we're seeing, but I've seen enough crashes tonight.
07:43I've seen enough vehicles that have been submerged in water.
07:46I just don't want to see anybody else have any more issues with, you know, having to go to
07:52hospital, having their equipment, you know, their vehicle damaged or anything like that.
07:56Yeah.
07:57It's just been, it's been too impactful of a night to, to really have any more of that
08:00going on.
08:01So I would just plead with people, please be careful if you do have to get out and drive.
08:05Yeah.
08:06Great advice.
08:07They're coming in from Michael.
08:08Certainly.
08:09Let me go out to Olivia Hickey.
08:10Olivia, I know you've been in the, in the heart of a lot of this flooding that we've seen
08:13this evening.
08:14Olivia, what's the latest here?
08:15Yeah, they were living here in the area Eastern and Southeast 12 since around 10 o'clock,
08:221030 this evening.
08:23I'm going to get out of the way and have Lorenzo.
08:25I'll show you what we're still seeing.
08:27There is a very heavy police and fire presence here.
08:30You may have just seen that drone they're using in their search and rescue efforts.
08:34I said search and rescue because they're currently, I have some dive teams here from Norman,
08:40OKC, helping them search this Creek area.
08:43I was told by police earlier that a truck and a car went over the bridge into the water.
08:48If the truck was on top of the car, I'm told they, they accounted for the folks that ate
08:53in the truck.
08:54They got one person from the car at this time, but they are still in those search and rescue
08:59efforts for the other two people.
09:01The information is limited, but we'll stay on this and we'll be able to ask information
09:06as you've seen that it take away to them.
09:09But the level of the road is weird.
09:11Here's both things here too.
09:12So, look at all throughout the good imagination series if you go through it.
09:16Let's go back to your area.
09:17We're still tracking that.
09:18So, we've just got to have to move to the police.
09:21Resident I basically said, motorists are stuck in.
09:23And I want their gun to rescue as much as they can.
09:26So, that's up to you.
09:27I'll have more information on KUVC5.
09:28More at five o'clock.
09:30Keep it from KUVC5.
09:31We'll break this verse one.
09:33Bye.
09:37Yes.
09:38Just a moment.
