00:00And 4.50 is ready to roar here in Pittsburgh.
00:07Oh, Mitchell Oldenburg with a fantastic start, but watch Roxen.
00:12Roxen's trying to sneak up the inside. Here comes Cooper Webb.
00:15Oldenburg leads the way, but Ken Roxen flies through on the inside to the lead of this race.
00:20Yeah, Coop had to check up because Oldenburg didn't go for the triple in that first rhythm lane.
00:27Cooper knows how important it is going to be to get a good run here so he can have the best starting spot as possible.
00:34He doesn't want to give any advantage to Chase Sexton.
00:37It's going to be tough right here for the two of Cooper Webb to outrun Kenny Roxen right now.
00:45Awesome start aboard the beta for Oldenburg. Here comes Cooper Webb, though, on the inside.
00:50Great run through the walks. Leaps onto the top of the tabletop.
00:53These guys elected to go to the outside. Check out Dean Weasel.
00:56Wilson goes to the inside on the split lane, trying to sneak by Oldenburg.
01:01And does so with a nice inside move.
01:04And as Dean told us, his confidence would grow every time out, and it has.
01:10Look who's trying to sneak through on the inside. Dylan Ferrandez on the Phoenix under.
01:14Nice move on Oldenburg.
01:15Oh, incredible. I thought he was going to get a BOGO.
01:18Two for one. Get by Oldenburg and Wilson.
01:22Wasn't able to. Ferrandez had a great run last week.
01:25He's slowly been getting better aboard that Phoenix Honda.
01:28Get more comfortable.
01:30He's gotten some parts from factory Honda HRC that's really helped his bike.
01:35Helped his riding.
01:36Last three races, R.C. Ferrandez has gone 10th, 7th, 5th.
01:41Tracking in the right direction.
01:45Oldenburg, another mistake, sadly, not through the whoops.
01:48And that allows Christian Craig to get by the bottom of your screen.
01:52Top of the screen. Ferrandez switches back on Dean Wilson.
01:58Inside move.
01:59Wilson holds the higher ground for now.
02:01No, he doesn't.
02:02Nice move.
02:03Dylan Ferrandez just keeps passing them at his will.
02:07Looks good, Jason.
02:09It does.
02:10And it's an interesting dynamic between these two because both of them were in contention for this ride.
02:15As you see, Dean try to make a move back.
02:17And Dylan Ferrandez really has found some extra motivation.
02:19He feels like he was passed over a little bit for that Honda HRC fill-in spot.
02:24And his results have really shown that.
02:26So, these guys are already battling for everything there is to fight for.
02:29But just a little extra motivation between those two at the moment.
02:33I think Dean Wilson's doing a great job if you consider not racing all season long.
02:38Comes back two races ago.
02:40Slowly getting better each weekend.
02:43And I'm pumped for him.
02:44Very hard to do at this level.
02:46Oh, boy.
02:46We got us a battle dip.
02:48Sure do.
02:49Ken Roxton is going to have company in the form of the championship leader, Cooper Webb.
02:54And this is where Coop has worked really hard.
02:56Getting that intensity in those sprint laps.
02:58And to be able to run with a guy like Chase Sexton, you have to be good.
03:03You have to be explosive early on in these races.
03:06So you don't lose too much ground early.
03:09See Coop going to the very left-hand side of the whoops.
03:15Probably in better shape on that side.
03:17And because when he does that, he has to make his apex so tight in that corner that it really kills the center speed.
03:25Loses a ton of time there.
03:26One of the driving factors behind Ken Roxton is he knows that he could very well be in this championship fight if it weren't for those injuries, weren't for that fall at Tampa.
03:37Right.
03:37And while the lion's share of discussion and the limelight has been on Cooper Webb and Chase Sexton justifiably so, he wants to remind everybody, hey, don't forget about me.
03:47Don't forget about my 2025 form.
03:49Will?
03:51And this tracking particularly might be helping him out.
03:55The reason being there's less right-handers in it, only two right-handers versus five left-handers, and it's been the opposite the last few rounds.
04:03The reason I mention that is because of the injury on that right ankle.
04:07The more he risks putting that down, the worse that is.
04:10So if he can keep it off the ground and have to deal with those corners less, a lot easier for Ken.
04:14So the reason I think this weekend might just be a little easier on those injuries you talked about.
04:18Yeah, well, luckily for him, Will, there's not as many right-hand corners on this track.
04:22There's four lefts and three right, so he's going to get a little help there.
04:27Bottom box, Justin Hill really trying to work over Christian Craig.
04:31Here we go.
04:32Look at this.
04:32Nice leap.
04:33Good speed.
04:34Wrong side, though.
04:35What can Justin do?
04:36Can he switch back?
04:37Turn down up underneath him.
04:39Get a good drive out of their corner.
04:40He does.
04:41However, Christian's on the inside.
04:44He has the advantage.
04:48Nice pass by Justin.
04:50Monster Energy Team 10 at KTM, so that was for sixth.
04:56Rox and Webb for Anders Wilson, Oldenburg fifth.
04:59Then Justin, and then Christian, Colt Nichols, and Kyle Chisholm in that ninth and final transfer position.
05:07Christian had a wreck in qualifying practice in the whoops, actually, towards the end of the whoops section.
05:13It's great to see him get back up.
05:15Doesn't look like it's phased him one bit.
05:20This race track had some contrast in conditions earlier today.
05:24There's some areas where it was wet, hard pack, dry, slick.
05:29Other nature has definitely worked with us outside of the wind.
05:33And it being a little chilly for these riders, it's certainly better than no rain.
05:38Time's almost up with that, plus a lap to go.
05:48And phenomenal start from Ken Roxen as he worked hard to grab that lead on the opening lap
05:57and has been able to fend off Cooper Webb since.
06:00Christian Craig's not giving up on Justin Hill.
06:02And Colt Nichols, look, as he looms larger.
06:10I like that drone shot through the split lane.
06:13But right here, I want to watch Cooper Webb in the center speed in the corner before the whoops.
06:20Watch how fast Kenny is through there.
06:22Oh, Coop has changed up his line.
06:24That's great heads-up riding.
06:26Good audible.
06:27He was going to have to do that because, like I said, having that tighter apex,
06:31he wasn't able to carry that center speed through the corner fast enough to match Kenny.
06:36And that's where he was getting eaten up.
06:39It was just enough to make the difference.
06:44Roxen looks good tonight.
06:45He does.
06:46Smooth, fast, protecting that right ankle, that right foot.
06:50Let's be honest, though.
06:51He looks good a lot of the time.
06:53This guy has incredible talent.
06:54But despite his bad luck, I'm just pumped for him to stick with it and never give up.
07:05Kenny just keeps racking up those career numbers.
07:08That is his 51st career heat win.
07:12Yeah, acknowledges the crowd.
07:14That was a good one, Kenny.
07:16Nice fight here between Christian Craig and Justin Hill a little further back.
07:20Dylan Frandes came across the line in third.
07:22That was a good run from the Frenchman.
07:26And that's heat one of the 450s.
07:28Colt Nichols kind of closed up the gap there right behind Christian Craig.
07:33Trying to make a move.
07:34Good job by Colt.
07:36Aboard that twisted tee.
07:38H-E-P Suzuki.
07:39But there's Kenny.
07:40That's a nice way to start the night.
07:44Turn to the light check.
07:47Oh, my God.
07:47You're welcome.
07:55Here you are.
07:56Here you are.
07:57Yes.
07:57Here you are.
07:58Most of you.
07:59Here you are.
08:00If you are?
08:01Okay, here you are.
08:01Aye.
08:02Now, please.
08:02Now, please.
08:03Email Des Ramch 더.
08:05Tonight.
08:06Your medic.
08:06Hmm.
08:07You're safe 목, very safe to be king.
08:09Never.
08:09Once again, please.
08:09Truth is not beautiful.
08:10This is not coral.
