00:40against the patriots for the u.s tag team title now one week ago a lot of negotiations went on
00:45and of course i know you called the hotline last week and missy told you all about the negotiations
00:50missy this week the pistols not only have their shot once again at the title they'll be talking
00:54to jim ross on the ross report we know they got a lot of strategy didn't you call the hotline
00:59yeah well you mean your hotline last sunday yes sure sure i did i call it all the time as a
01:04matter of fact we also have a submit or surrender match up this week pn news the rap master against
01:09mr hughes now don't forget you can't pin the man in this match you have to make him give up or maybe
01:14knock him out to where he can't answer the 10 count oh if i do that to you maybe i it can be my show
01:19yeah missy will work on that one during the course of this hour but right now as we said submit or
01:24surrender it will be a pn news and mr hughes let's go to the ring and wrestling fans his opponent

01:42should be a tremendous matchup on the mail what's that mr hughes immediately goes after pn news and
01:48well you got to give hughes some credit that's and this is exactly what he should do

16:37the big rematch for the united states tag team championship the patriots will once again defend
16:42against the young pistols saw a very controversial match last week with the patriots retaining the
16:47championship but before we talk about today's main event i gotta address a couple of things guys
16:53beginning on october 27th you made some very bold statements that were very uncharacteristic of the
16:58young pistols and what i find uh somewhat distressing is that anytime there was an autograph
17:03session you all were always the first ones there anytime that they wanted someone to go to a school and
17:08talk to the kids about just say no that's our problem you fellas were the ones there that's
17:12the whole problem right there jim we're so busy going into these goofy autograph sessions and going
17:18to see these goofy children at these children hospitals the drug talks to kids and things like
17:22that y'all got us running all over town we can't concentrate on wrestling we're the best athletes here
17:27and we're going to make some heads roll that we go all over the country we get booed out of the
17:32building nobody wants to cheer for the good guy anymore well we're not good guys no more
17:36patriot the puts the proof's going to be in the pudding guys you're looking at the next united
17:41states tag team champions we had you beat we beat you last week and some fluke i don't know what it
17:46was they restarted the match you rolled us up got the one two three later on this hour we got a rematch
17:50for the titles and we're going to get them this time guys it's as simple as that you know we come out
17:54of these arenas we're beat all up and all the people want sign this autograph do this do this i ain't
17:59hugging no more ladies i ain't kissing no more girls they don't pay my electric bill they don't pay my house
18:04note they don't pay my car payment nothing but steve armstrong and tracy smothers we're the real deal
18:10pal and patriots you're going down and that's the bottom line you know steve i've known you since
18:15uh before you got into wrestling i've known your family my entire career your dad was a tremendous
18:20athlete for over two decades but he was a great fan favorite what does he and the rest of your family
18:25think about this change in your all's attitude well jim let me just put it like this i'll put it very
18:30simply because this is what i believe in my heart when i was 18 years old i went out of the house
18:35and my mom and my daddy didn't pay my bills no more you understand what i'm talking about so patriots
18:40blown up chip goober pie looking food and old vanilla ice swelled up man if you think you bad well jump on
18:47in with some good old boys because southern hospitality dang sure ain't what it used to be and as far as my
18:52family goes they ain't paying my bills so they're far from my mind yeah we got three friends jim that's me
18:58myself and i everybody says why'd y'all turn bad what's going on well let me tell you something it's
19:03money that's the bottom line when it all comes down to it it all comes up green so like i said
19:08patriots we're southern born and southern bred guarantee not to rust bust collect dust bend
19:13breakers splinter and don't forget it guys you're looking at the next united states tag team champions

26:59will be the tag teams in the 10 tag team matches 20 teams to qualify to get the medal boom
27:05steve and tracy could find themselves on opposite sides of the ring in a tag team match

27:13tracy doing a lot of complaining now as the collar elbow takes him back to the corner

27:46what has happened so far in this match this match has been going on about three minutes now
27:51and tracy has succeeded in slowing down the tempo of this match to try to maybe uh get the patriots
27:57off stride so to speak
28:04standing sides headlock
28:13over the top
28:13close line by todd champion one of his better moves and down goes steve the power of todd champion
28:23and the pistols now backing up to the right side we talk so much about the intriguing matchups or the
28:29possibilities of opponents as the patriots talk things over here we've seen a lot of van hammer and
28:35cactus jack in this hour yes cactus jack could be van hammer's partner by the luck of the draw
28:41double coconuts i think tracy blocked it i think he may have blocked it but still both men go down
28:50so the patriots rolling the pistols back in
28:56tracy held his ground in the corner calling for the break and that may not have been a bad move at all
29:01once again the patriots thought they had some momentum and
29:05tracy stopped it by standing home in the corner we're going to get a tag off of the request of tracy
29:16smothers now
29:16to a collar and elbow there's no way that tracy's going to be to be able to outpower a guy like chip
29:29the firebreaker high impact blows in the back of the neck he quickly tags off to steve who runs right
29:35to the arm drag
29:36great arm drag not only did it put his opponent down to the mat but chip choreographed it so that he
29:43could drag him into the corner there was nothing that steve could do about it
29:50great wrestling maneuver great placement by chip the firebreaker
30:07and great ring positioning and that is so much so important in tag team wrestling
30:14making your opponent go where you want him to go once again great maneuvering by chip
30:20as he puts him with a top wrist lock down in his half of the ring
30:26that's what being tag team champions are all about guys
30:40steve trying to use some quickness to get behind
30:43chip but chip will not let him get behind it's
30:46great athletic ability there and now here's a tag and now chip's in trouble
30:51but he's fighting out
30:58chip fought out and now moves himself back
31:05return match us tag title it's been a very slow-paced match so far
31:21neither team able to get an advantage
31:22but now tracy firmly puts a shoulder in and a right hand
31:31and he's in the corner
31:36and he's in trouble and you're in with the action
31:39chip heavy right hands up on top
31:42right to the jaw each and every blow
31:53and a right hand sends tracy down champion into cutoff steve and he nailed chip the firebreaker
32:01with a shoulder over the top did the referee see it he did not
32:09and now the pistols
32:12having chip the firebreaker in a lot of trouble
32:14here pulling on the knee and stomping on the back of that knee oh wow
32:28continued pressure on that right knee of chip and now the pistols using great double team tag work
32:48nailing top champion with the sole purpose of getting him in
32:53and teasing time enabling the double team on the knee of chip
32:59patriots in trouble todd's not helping things out at all
33:05as a matter of fact he's hurting things here a lot
33:16a little lack of communication that time on behalf of the pistols and they could have had another
33:21double team however what has happened here the pistols
33:28working on that knee
33:32have taken a definite advantage in this match
33:35double drop kick good move by chip holding all the ropes with both arms
33:39now can he make the tag well he can't stand apparently but he can make a tag for todd champion
33:47champion
33:52and the patriots with tied champion and heavy blows
33:55chip hobbling in we've got all four going at it in opposite neutral corners

34:09mike gadkins warning both men breaking his count filling the pistols together

34:27this is going to be it if they can hit this move they got it

35:04todd had spent so much time early on in the match coming in that certainly the referee any chance
35:09he got was going to warn todd about being in and when todd was ushered out well here it is again
35:15todd took his time getting out and the referee said get out get out while he was pushing todd away
35:24here comes steve on the back headbutt you see tracy pointing headbutt right there
35:28and we have new u.s tag team champions missy and i will be back on tbs after this time
35:47well it's the change of attitude new pistols but they are the u.s tag team champions aren't they
35:51i predicted it good missy glad you did let's talk about what's coming up in world championship
35:56presley two weeks away now from starrcade the lethal lottery and what an event it's going to be
36:01missing i know i can't believe all those guys it's going to be 40 guys and they're going to draw their
36:06names out of like like a drawing like a drawing they're going to team with see who they're going
36:11to team with and they won't know who their partner will be until that night we could see cactus jack
36:15team with sting how about the z-man teaming with a duel of the butcher yeah yeah but you know
36:20there's a lot of ways you can like rig the drawings i've talked to a few of the guys and i know
36:24like you can bend the paper use thinner paper there's a lot of things because there's a lot
36:28of guys that do not want to tag with other guys and you know i've talked to them and i know because
36:32of personal reasons and i'm sure you'll have it for us on the hotline as missy does the mail tonight
36:37right of course i will good the ultimate thing is to get the battle ball where it's every man for
