00:00What do you think of that data and those graphs?
00:04Do you think that is a valid argument?
00:06Or could we be looking at different kinds of data and get different sorts of answers?
00:11Well, first of all, I'm very honoured to be on the show.
00:14So thank you so much for the invitation.
00:16I definitely think there is a discontent, not only in Western Europe, also in Eastern Europe, but with the current state of affairs.
00:23And I think immigration might have something to do with it.
00:26But I think it's minor.
00:27The main cause is the dismantling, not to say the slaughtering, of the welfare state that we have witnessed during the past 20, 30 years.
00:36Sweden used to be a country, for example, where we had zero unemployment.
00:39I mean, the unemployment we had was people just switching jobs.
00:43You know, we used to have a welfare state that took care of everybody.
00:47Now, the neoliberal project has obviously failed.
00:50It was evident after 2008.
00:52Neoliberalism came to an end.
00:54Now, the ruling classes were very careful not to take the blame for this.
00:59So they shifted ideology from a neoliberal ideology where, you know, everybody should fend for themselves and basically there should be no state,
01:06into a kind of extreme right-wing ideology, blaming the immigrants.
01:12Okay.
01:12I think it's interesting.
01:12Well, the todos, we haven't been looking at do was, uh, it's trying to think.
01:15That's really cool.
01:16We must, we're doing my work at the plan topics that's...
01:17we have a really cool business.
01:17So, we can kind of think more of these teachers
01:18to play them on again.
01:19We must, uh, across and acknowledge options by our cirst immune system.
01:20Thank you so much so much.
01:20So, think we could go both...
01:22I think we can definitely hear from this, uh...
01:22But yeah, thank you so much.
01:22Well, that's maybe...
01:24I think we didn't really-, we can do a wait-to-wбо-石 and eventually easier what they are in there.
