Ean Cajucom wins Paoay to Vigan route in Tour of Luzon
In a photo finish, Ean Cajucom of Victoria Sports Pro Cycling Team emerged triumphant at the Tour of Luzon Paoay to Vigan route on Saturday, April 26.
Clocking two hours, 51 minutes and 42 seconds along with 98 other cyclists in the third of the 8-stage race, Cajucom claimed the 'purple jersey' or the stage lead because he garnered the most bonus points at finish (15).
Runner-up Ahmad Awang Ilah of Malaysia Pro Cycling gained 12 points while third placer Poul Aquino of Dreyna Orion Cement got nine.
Under the scorching heat of the sun, 99 cyclists including the 22-year-old Cajucom crossed the finished line almost simultaneously.
