00:00Imagination, and when he's tall, he's what we call a dinosaur sensation.
00:10Barney's friends are big and small, they come from lots of places.
00:14After school, they meet to play and sing with happy faces.
00:18Barney shows us lots of things, like how to play pretend.
00:23ABCs and 1-2-3s and how to be a friend.
00:26Barney comes to play with us whenever we may need him.
00:31Barney can be your friend too if you just make me leave him.
00:39That was a lot of fun.
00:43It sure was. Let's play that again sometime.
00:46So what do you want to play now?
00:48I know a game we can play together. How about Mother May I?
00:51Oh, it's a great idea.
00:54Okay guys, find your starting place.

01:46Wow, Mother May I?
01:49Barney, hi!
01:50Hi, everybody.
01:51What are you doing on this very special day?
01:54We're playing games and having fun.
01:56But why is today a special day?
01:59Well, every day is a special day when we all play together.
02:04Today is a special day because we're all together.
02:09We'll have a super-dee-duper time because we're going to have fun.
02:16Clap your hands.
02:19Run in place.
02:22Dance a silly dance.
02:25Make a funny face.
02:28Whatever we do, me and you, the one thing that we know is we're going to have fun.
02:36Fun, fun!
02:37Fun with everyone.
02:40We're going to play all day.
02:43We're going to have fun together.
02:47Fun, fun, fun!
02:50Fun with everyone.
02:52That's right.
02:53We're going to play all day.
02:56Together we're going to have fun.
02:59Every day is a fun-filled day when we can pretend.
03:04We're a bird or a fish or the man in the moon.
03:08Or in a marching band with our friends.
03:12Turn around.
03:14Look upside down.
03:16That's the idea.
03:17Play peek-a-boo.
03:19Ride and sink.
03:21You're it.
03:22I can see you.
03:24Whatever we do, me and you, the one thing that we know is we're going to have fun.
03:31Fun, fun!
03:33Fun with everyone.
03:36We're going to play all day.
03:39We're going to have fun together.
03:42Fun, fun, fun!
03:44Fun with everyone.
03:47That's right.
03:48We're going to play all day.
03:51Together we're going to have fun.
03:55Together we're going to have fun.
03:59It's mine.
04:01No, it's not.
04:02It's mine.
04:04It's not.
04:05It's too.
04:06I wonder what's going on.
04:08I don't know.
04:08Let's go see.
04:09Okay.
04:10I found it first.
04:14Well, I found it second.
04:16It's Baby Bop and BJ.
04:18And they don't look very happy.
04:20Not very happy at all.
04:22Come on.
04:23Let's go see if we can help.
04:28Let's go, BJ.
04:30It's mine, mine, mine.
04:32No, it's not, sissy.
04:33It's mine.
04:34You wouldn't know what to do with it anyway.
04:37Uh-huh.
04:38It's going to be my new playhouse.
04:40Playhouse?
04:41No way.
04:42I'm going to make it into a cool fort.
04:46Playhouse fort.
04:48Hi there.
04:49What's wrong?
04:50Oh, hi, Barney.
04:51Barney, I found this box and I'm going to make it into a playhouse.
04:55One at a time, please.
04:57Excuse me.
04:59See, Barney, I found this box first.
05:03Yes.
05:03So it's going to be my pretty playhouse.
05:06Okay.
05:06No, it's not.
05:07It's going to be my cool fort.
05:10Oh, my.
05:12Well, it seems that you have a little problem.
05:14You both want to play with the same thing at the same time.
05:19Maybe you could share the box.
05:21I don't want to share it.
05:23It's mine.
05:24Ay, ay, ay.
05:27Sometimes when my brother and I both want to play with the same toy, we take turns playing
05:32with it.
05:32Oh, taking turns is a great idea, Robert.
05:35When you take turns, everyone shares in the fun.
05:38Oh, we take turns.
05:41Oh, we take turns.
05:42When we play with toys.
05:43When we play with toys.
05:44Because that's what's right.
05:45Because that's what's right.
05:46For girls and boys.
05:47For girls and boys.
05:48Oh, we take turns.
05:49When we play with toys.
05:50Because that's what's right.
05:51For girls and boys.
05:52Oh, we take turns.
05:54When we play with toys.
05:56Oh.
05:57Oh we take turns when we play a game

09:35Okay, bye-bye

09:37Bye
09:38Oh, good
09:39I can't wait to see how Babybop makes a box into a playhouse
09:45Yeah, and it would have been fun to all work on it together
09:49Oh, boy, oh, boy
09:51Sissy sure has a lot to learn about sharing
09:55Oh, yeah
09:56Oh, oh, oh, oh
09:57Whoa
09:58Whoa
09:59Hello, everyone
10:01Hello, everyone
10:03Hello, Barney
10:06Hello, Barney
10:07That's a beautiful flower
10:09With lots of prickly things on its leaves
10:11What kind of flower is it?
10:13This is a cactus flower
10:15I brought it to you from the Painted Desert in Arizona
10:19Thanks, Stella
10:20Oh, thanks for sharing your flower with us, Stella
10:23You are very welcome
10:25I was working in my garden
10:28And I thought I heard someone mention sharing
10:31And, well, that reminded me of a story
10:34Would you like to hear it?
10:35Oh, please
10:36Well, I'm going to need a little help from all of you to tell it, though
10:40Oh, here you go, Robert
10:44Uh, thanks
10:46And you will need these
10:47Thank you, Stella
10:48And...
10:49Thank you
10:50Here you go
10:51Thanks, Stella
10:52Here you go
10:53Now, once upon a time
10:57There was a young traveler
10:59He had been traveling for three days
11:02And he was very hungry and very tired
11:06I wish I had something good to eat
11:08And a nice, warm place to sleep
11:11Just down the road, he saw a village
11:18But the people in this village did not like to share
11:22Look, there is a young traveler heading our way
11:25And you know travelers, they're always hungry
11:28But our harvest was poor
11:30And we barely have enough for us
11:32When the young traveler met the villagers, he asked very politely
11:36Would you please share some food with the hungry traveler?
11:39I'm sorry, but we don't even have enough for ourselves
11:42All right
11:43Thank you anyway
11:45Well, the young traveler was so hungry and so tired
11:50That he sat down to try to think of something to do
11:54He noticed a large, smooth stone
11:59And that gave him an idea
12:02Since you have no food to share, I will make a special soup
12:07Stone soup
12:08Stone soup
12:09Why doesn't it fit from a stone?
12:11I don't know
12:12Actually, stone soup is quite good
12:14But first, we need a big pot of water and some fire to heat it
12:18So one of the villagers found a very big pot filled with water
12:23And placed it on the hot fire
12:25And as the water began to boil
12:27The young traveler wiped the stone clean and dropped it into the pot
12:37Ah, this does taste good
12:39But it needs something more
12:41Well, I was going to eat these later
12:46But I'll share some carrots with you
12:48Thank you
12:54This does taste better
12:55But it needs something more
12:58Let's see
13:01Maybe I have a potato I can share with you
13:04Thank you
13:10This tastes very delicious
13:13But it still needs something more
13:16Well, maybe I have a few beans I can share with you
13:20Thank you
13:25Now the soup should be fit for a king
13:28Now the young traveler stirred the soup
13:31Tasted it
13:32And stirred it some more
13:35Finally, the soup was ready
13:38Now I have soup to share with everyone
13:46So the villagers set a great table
13:49And they sat down to eat together
13:52The villagers had never tasted such wonderful soup
13:56Imagine such delicious soup made from a stone
14:00We thank you for sharing your delicious stone soup with us
14:03You're welcome
14:05And to thank you for sharing your food with me
14:07I'll leave you this stone
14:08Just remember that together we made a delicious soup for everyone to enjoy
14:15We will never go hungry now that we know how to make soup from a stone
14:18The end
14:25The end
14:27Hi!
14:29Thank you for sharing your story with us, Stella
14:32Oh, you are very welcome
14:34Yeah, I can't wait to share it with Sissy
14:37Well, I certainly hope you will
14:40Oh my, look at the time

16:36Oh, no.
16:38That's not the right spot.
16:40Oh, okay.
16:41I'm going to put it over here.
16:44Right there.
16:46Oh, there.
16:48Uh-oh.
16:49I don't think that's going to work either.
16:53Oh.

16:57Oh, wow.
16:58There.
16:59Oh, dear.

17:09Thanks, Danny.
17:10That was a really good snack.
17:11You're welcome.
17:12Yeah, thanks, Danny.
17:14Hey, can I have an apple to share with Sissy?
17:17Sure, BJ.
17:18All right.
17:19Thanks.
17:20I'll see you later, guys.
17:22Bye, BJ.
17:23Bye-bye.
17:23Bye-bye.
17:25Oh, no.
17:27Stella left her suitcase.
17:29And I'm sure she's going to need it.
17:31She carries all kinds of important things in it.
17:34How can we get it back to her?
17:36She said she was on her way to France.
17:39Look.
17:40Here's a sticker from France right here on Stella's suitcase.
17:43I wish there was some way we could catch up to her.
17:47Well, I guess we'll just have to go to France.
17:50What?
17:51What do you mean, France?
17:52What do you mean, France?
17:52How can we go to France?
17:54Well, it's not so hard if we...
17:55France is really far away.
17:56Well, it's pretty far, as a matter of fact.
17:58It's another country.
17:59Oh, that's right, Kristen.
18:01But if Stella can go to France, so can we.
18:04In France, we soon will be...
18:07Together, Mazami!
18:16Oh, this city of France.
18:22Are we really in France?
18:25Oh, we will, Mademoiselle.
18:27Yes, we are, Kristen.
18:29Look at the bird.
18:31It's so beautiful.
18:32Oh, yeah.
18:33Oh, now, the last time I was here, my friends taught me a song about a very special word.
18:39Would you like for me to teach it to you?
18:41Oh, sure.
18:42That's it.
18:42Great.
18:43Well, it goes like this.

21:04Hi.
21:05It is a pleasure to meet you.
21:08Oh, thank you.
21:10How did you do that?
21:12Well, Maurice is a magician.
21:14You never know what clever tricks he has up his sleeve.
21:18Would you like to see some more magic?
21:19Oh, please.
21:21All right.
21:22Do you remember the magic words?
21:24There are lots of things we can do to be nice.
21:29Sometimes they're hard to remember.
21:33But there are two little things you should never forget.
21:37From January through December.
21:40He's talking about please and thank you.
21:46They're called the magic words.
21:48If you want nice things to happen,
21:50they're the words that should be heard.
21:52Remember please and thank you.
21:55Because they're the magic words.
21:58Use them in the morning, at noon, and night.
22:00Because it's a great way to be polite.
22:02Please and thank you.
22:04They're the magic words.
22:06Please and thank you.
22:33They're the magic words.
22:36Thank you, Maurice.
22:42Thank you for the apple, BJ.
22:44It was good.
22:45Well, you're welcome.
22:47Hey, would you like some help with the playhouse?
22:49No, thank you.
22:51I'm doing just fine all by myself.
22:53Well, it's just that it seems to be blocking the stairs a little bit.
22:58I like it that way.
22:59But, Sissy, if we moved it just a little...
23:03Well, I'm not moving it.
23:05I moved it from over there to here.
23:08I don't want to move it again.
23:11Aye, aye, aye.
23:12I was just trying to help.
23:14Well, thank you, but I don't need your help.
23:17Now, I'm going to get some paint.

23:25All right.
23:31There.
23:31That's better.
23:37I'm going to learn to do that someday.
23:39What?
23:40Merci, Maurice.
23:41Thank you for showing us some magic tricks.
23:43You're very welcome.
23:47Oh, that is quite a suitcase you have.
23:50Oh, we were having so much fun, I almost forgot.
23:54Oh, this suitcase belongs to Stella the Storyteller.
23:57And we're trying to find her so we can give it back to her.
24:00She said she was on her way to France when she left our treehouse.
24:04Have you seen her?
24:05Ah, yes.
24:06My bon ami.
24:07The last time I saw my good friend Stella, she was having dinner at the cafe.
24:11Come on.
24:12It's right here.
24:13Oh, great.
24:14You can find her.
24:17Let's see.
24:18I'm sorry.
24:23I don't see Stella.
24:25She must have already gone.
24:27Oh, that's all right.
24:28Thanks for trying.
24:30Boy, those sure look good.
24:33Mmm, something smells really wonderful, too.
24:36Oh, this cafe begs the most delicious French bread.
24:40C'est très magnifique.
24:42It is so good, you must try some.
24:44I will see to it.
24:46Oh, great.
24:46Oh, great.
24:46This is a very nice restaurant.
24:50We need to remember to use good manners here.
24:53That's right, Kristen.
24:54It's important to use good manners when you eat.
24:57It's the polite thing to do.
25:01My parents started teaching me when I was just two.
25:04All about manners and the right things to do.
25:06They told me to learn to say thank you and learn to say please.
25:10And learn to say excuse me if you happen to sneeze.
25:13Excuse me.
25:14Good manners.
25:15Good manners are important to everyone in the world.
25:25That's right.
25:25Tell us about it, Daddy.
25:27My parents kept on teaching me when I was three.
25:30And then the more I learned, the more that I could see.
25:33That there's a way to do it wrong.
25:34There's a way to do it right.
25:36Everybody use your manners now and be polite.
25:39Please.
25:40Good manners.
25:43Good manners.
25:46Good manners are important to everyone in the world.
25:50Good manners are important to everyone in the world.
26:09Good manners are important to everyone in the world.
26:17Oh, that's right.
26:18Good manners are important to everyone in the world.
26:24Oh, that's right.
26:26Good manners are important to everyone in the world.
26:27Good manners are important to everyone in the world.
26:29Good manners are important to everyone in the world.
26:33It was delicious.
26:34Like the bread?
26:38Your manners are tre-mani-fic.
26:40Speaking of bread, let's take some back to share with Baby Bop and BJ.
26:47That's a team perfect idea.
26:50Ah, here is a nice, fresh loaf.
26:56Oh, look at that.
26:58Merci Maurice, thank you.
27:01And here is something for you to carry it in.
27:04Oh boy, this is going to be great.
27:08Well, I must go now.
27:10I hope you find Stella.
27:11Au revoir.
27:12Au revoir.
27:13Goodbye.
27:14Hooray.
27:14Thanks Maurice, nice to see you.
27:18And Stella isn't here.
27:20I wonder where she is.
27:22And how are we going to find her now?
27:24Maybe she's in one of these places.
27:26Let's give it a try.
27:28Where should we go now?
27:29This one says Canada.
27:31Let's go there.
27:32OK Danny.
27:33Then soon we'll be in Canada under a maple tree.
27:37Oh no!
27:39Oh no, it's so beautiful.
27:42It's so cool.
27:46It's so cool.
27:48Oh no.
27:49Oh no.
27:50Snowball.
27:51Oh.

28:24This is really fun.
28:25But it's also very cold.
28:26Well that's because it's wintertime.
28:27And winter makes Canada a great place for some good co-co-cold fun.
28:32When my teeth start to chatter and my fingers freeze, that's how I know it's cold.
28:36When I shiver and shake from a little bitty breeze, that's how I know it's cold.
28:43When I see my breath like smoke in the air, it's really kind of fun, so I don't care if
29:12furry hair it's cold it's cold when the ground is covered with fluffy white snow that's how i know
29:22it's cold when the trees are full of icicles that's how i know it's cold i'll wear my hat

40:33Right, Barney.
40:35Would you like to learn how to make one?
40:37Sure, that would be great.
40:39Piñatas are easy and fun to make.

40:57First, we fill a paper bag with all kinds of goodies.
41:01We have toys and candy.
41:04Good. Muy bien. Muy bien, niños.
41:07After we fill the piñata, we take a stapler and staple the top of the bag so the goodies won't fall out.
41:16At least, not yet.
41:17Let's make sure the bag is closed good and tight.
41:22Next, we take some paper strips and dip them in starch.
41:27Oh, that looks like any gooey fun.
41:30Then, we cover the bag with the strips of paper.
41:36Oh, I see.
41:38The wet starch acts just like glue.
41:41After we let it dry, we cover the bag with colorful tissue paper.
41:46And we have lots of decorations.
41:48Oh, you are doing wonderfully, niños.
41:53The yellow one's going to look like a big canary.
41:56There you go.
41:57And you can decorate with paints or markers any way you'd like.
42:03And after you finish the decorations, you've made a piñata.
