00:00Las Vegas Raiders at number six overall to take their running back of the future.
00:11The Heisman runner-up from the 2024 college football season, Ashton Gentry,
00:16goes sixth overall to the Las Vegas Raiders.
00:20So, Kev, from the odds perspective, we talked about this early on.
00:24When these odds opened up in the draft cycle, Las Vegas was a minus 150 favorite to draft Ashton Gentry.
00:32But as of draft week, that didn't seem to be the most plausible scenario anymore.
00:37How did we arrive at this spot with Ashton Gentry going sixth overall?
00:41Yeah, I think it's the Jacksonville Jaguars were going to do something, and they went up instead of down.
00:47And it gave the Raiders then an opportunity to seemingly take the player they were linked to the entire time.
00:54I am personally, I do not like what the Browns did in drafting Mason Graham.
00:59I think all of those offers that Jacksonville were seemingly fielding from teams wanting to come up for Gentry
01:04to some degree could have then been there for the Browns.
01:08I don't think Graham is the fifth best player in this class by any stretch of the imagination.
01:12If you're Vegas, you're excited, but I still echo my same sentiments.
01:17The Vegas Raiders are, even if they can pull off an upset,
01:20booked to finish as the last team within their division.
01:24Yes, Gentry has a clear path for a 1,000-yard season
01:26and will be booked as the favorite to win offensive rookie of the year.
01:30I am sure of it.
01:31Kelly has ties to the two Ohio State backs in this class.
01:35Was this the best use of this spot here?
01:38Even if, remember, Zeke had amazing seasons for the Dallas Cowboys.
01:44If you did a redraft, is he going fourth overall to Dallas?
01:47I highly doubt it.
