00:00MS NAUERT- All right.
00:01Iran?
00:02MS NAUERT- Yes, sir.
00:03Of course.
00:04Said.
00:05To the point that actually Nadia raised, yesterday Secretary Rubio told Barry Weiss
00:09that the U.S. is open and actually accepting of an Iran peaceful program, considering that
00:18it is a member of the Non-Proliferation Treaty.
00:21But the position of the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is that the total destruction
00:27of all nuclear-related facilities, peaceful and otherwise, a la what happened in Libya
00:33in the old days.
00:36So do you see that this is evolving into some sort of a gap between the position of the United
00:41States and Israel?
00:42MS NAUERT- Yes.
00:43First of all, I reject your general premise.
00:47Again, what we can discuss are things that are projected upon regarding the notion of
00:54some remarks that the Secretary may or may not make.
00:57At the same time, there is a whole host of people working on these issues.
01:02And there is nothing to gain, nor will I discuss the details or my opinion or project on the
01:08nature of what we expect from something.
01:11These are that this is the job of people who are assigned to this and bear the weight of
01:16the world on their shoulders as we sit here very comfortably in an air-conditioned briefing
01:21room as I try to at least get you information so that you know the general trajectory of
01:26how things are.
01:27It is remarkable to be standing here 100 days in to the Trump administration.
01:33Ukraine and Russia are at a table.
01:35We may not always like what's said at the table, but they're at the table.
01:39We've had a ceasefire in Gaza, which after what had happened on October 7th was a remarkable
01:46establishment.
01:47We continue, despite the resistance to the continuation of that ceasefire, to work on
01:52that so that that kind of carnage that has been generational can come to an end.
01:59The world remains in this place.
02:02And I think the American people knew who we needed in the White House.
02:06And it's Trump, things are changing rapidly, and they will continue to.
02:10All right.
02:11Yes, madam, in the back.
