Subnautica 2’s First Dev Vlog Kicks Off the Road to Early Access. Unknown Worlds, the creators of Subnautica and Subnautica: Below Zero, have released the first developer vlog for Subnautica 2, officially launching the game’s Road to Early Access.
In the video, Design Lead Anthony Gallegos invites new and returning players to join the Subnautica 2 Early Access journey. Unknown Worlds is also sharing the first in-development footage of Subnautica 2, featuring a glimpse at co-op, the new alien planet, and a sneak peek at some of the vehicles and creatures you’re set to encounter.

00:21Just like with Subnautica and Below Zero, we'll be inviting you on a futuristic underwater
00:26survival adventure, set an all-new mysterious alien world. The whole team believes that Subnautica
00:342 is shaping up to be our biggest and most ambitious Subnautica game ever, and we can't
00:39wait until you dive in. We've taken everything that we've learned from our experience on
00:43the previous games, and we've poured it into Subnautica 2. We're working with veterans of
00:48the Subnautica series, but have also brought on some new faces, so you know you'll be in
00:52a dance. But we're also ready to shake things up. For the first time, you'll have the chance
00:57to experience Subnautica 2 with your friends in co-op. But whether you choose to play solo
01:02or with friends, we hope each descent into the depths is more thrilling than ever. If that
01:08sounds awesome to you, then join us for early access later in 2025. You'll be there when we
