00:00So this is day six of the shoot and here in Wellington it's raining, but we're still going to carry on shooting anyway.
00:07We've got a scene on the Venture today. As you can see, the boat's on the parking lot.
00:12I couldn't face the idea of shooting in a ship at sea. I get terribly seasick.
00:16So we built the ship here on the parking lot on solid ground.
00:19We've got blue screens surrounding it so that anything that we want to do, ocean, sky, can just be superimposed in later on.
00:26The scene we're doing today involves Driscoll and Denham walking along the side of the ship having a conversation.
00:38Drink the wind up. More wind, more wind.
00:41One of the really cool things if you're a King Kong fan is this. Have a look at this.
00:57Isn't that neat? I've got a feeling this is going to go on my office wall when the movie's finished, so don't look for it on eBay.

01:17Now of course one of the skills of being an actor on this film is to pretend that you're on a ship.
01:21And so Adrian and Jack have been rehearsing their sea technique.

01:32Okay, so come down here and we'll just have a look at this.
01:34So you have to imagine that the boat's going up and down and it's rocking and the horizon's going up and down.
01:42And these guys have got it worked out perfectly.
01:44Okay, and action.
01:46And do it.
01:56Do you think I'm a little seasick?
01:58Oh God, I think you need to know.
02:00Well that was alright, but I think you need another drink.
02:03Yeah, agreed.
02:04One more drink and it'll be perfect.
