“যা ঘটেছে তাতে দেশের মানুষ ক্ষুব্ধ। স্বাভাবিক ভাবেই এর জন্যে প্রশ্নের মুখে পড়তে হচ্ছে কেন্দ্রকে। সেই জন্যেই কেন্দ্র সরাসরি অ্যাকশন নিচ্ছে। যারা এই আততায়ী হামলা ঘটিয়েছে তারা তো ছাড় পাবেই না, একই সাথে যারা পিছন থেকে ওঁদেরকে কন্ট্রোল করেছে তারাও পালিয়ে বাঁচতে পারবে না। সরকার পদক্ষেপ নেওয়া শুরু করে দিয়েছে। সময়ে সময়ে এর প্রমাণ মিলবে। আততায়ীরা ওঁদের সমস্ত প্রশ্নের উত্তর পাবে। যে সব প্রশ্নের উত্তর বন্দুক দিয়ে দিতে হবে, তা বন্দুক দিয়েই দেওয়া হবে। আর যা কড়া পদক্ষেপ নিয়ে দিতে হবে, যেমনটা সিন্ধু জলবণ্টন চুক্তি বন্ধ করে দেওয়া হয়েছে, ঠিক তেমনটাই উত্তর ফেরত দেবে কেন্দ্র। এই হামলার জবাব ভারত দেবে খুব তাড়াতাড়ি”, পহেলগাঁও হামলা নিয়ে কড়া প্রতিক্রিয়া কেন্দ্রীয় প্রতিমন্ত্রী সুকান্ত মজুমদারের।

Those who carried out this terrorist attack will not get a break, and at the same time, those who controlled them from behind will not be able to escape. The government has started taking steps. Evidence of this will be found from time to time. The terrorists will get answers to all their questions. All the questions that need to be answered with guns will be answered with guns. And the Centre will give the same answer to the tough steps that need to be taken, just like the Indus Waters Treaty has been terminated. India will give a very quick response to this attack," said by Union Minister of State Sukanta Majumdar.
