00:00Hey, what's up? Rolling Stone. I'm Skeleton. I'm here at the record store in Surrey Hills on Crown Street.
00:07I'm gonna go in and just pick some records and tell you about some of my favourite ones.
00:13Yeah.
00:14Global Communication, 76, 14. It's like this really beautiful, long, instrumental ambient.
00:22Mark Pritchard, who's Australian, and then Tom Middleton, who's like one of my favourite kind of like early 2000s, 90s kind of like, you know, probably does everything.
00:32But like real nice, clean house and electronic, almost IDM kind of stuff.
00:39This one, Thievery Corporation. I think this is the best of. It takes a thief.
00:46But like, I've been really getting back into Thievery Corporation recently, and this has all the classics.
00:51From lots of different, because I could never decide my favourite Thievery Corporation album.
00:55This has Lebanese Blonde, Sweet Tides, Shadows of Ourselves, Richest Man in Babylon, heaps of good ones.
01:02I think this is a good best of. Oh yeah, this one for sure. Logic 1000, probably known as DJ Logic before she got cease and desist.
01:09I think this came out last year. It's called Mother. Such a good album.
01:15Lots of good feats as well. There's one with DJ Plead on it. I mean, beautiful, just like, kind of like,
01:20deep house, pop, leaning, clubby. I mean, this is really good. This is from a few years, like a while ago.
01:26Whoa, 2018. But I do really like this release. So this is like one of the really good efficient space compilations.
01:333AM Spares. Which was that track that General Electric, Andy Ranson track, Leather Lover.
01:40I loved that. It's like, it's really slow, kind of like, stanky, deep house, acid thing.
01:49And then I think this also had, oh, this is the Future Sound of Melbourne pack on there.
01:54Third Eye. Lots of like, really good Australian, like, Melbourne rave scene things from the 90s, which is really cool.
02:01I kind of do one of the best bands in Australia, of course. This is like the, the full album.
02:10I haven't even had a full album before this, but, or maybe they have a full album before this.
02:14This is the second one. But yeah, one of my favourite bands. So good. Like, beautiful production.
02:20Beautiful, um, vocals. Just gorgeous atmosphere. And great songwriting.
02:29This I'm actually also going to buy, I reckon. The new Tunnel Dancers. It's called Energy is Residual.
02:37I haven't actually listened to this yet, because it literally came out last week, I think.
02:42But it's, um, Cousin and Hugh B. Doing a collaborative kind of, uh, beautiful ambient electronic project.
02:54I wonder if I've heard any of this. A Shaft of Light, which was on like a compilation, which is the last song.
03:01Really just beautiful music. They're both so talented at their own projects and like this, I'm just excited about what this contains.
03:10Um, all the other ones that I've just mentioned, forget about them. Just this is what you want to buy.
03:19No, buy them all. But this especially.
