00:00Samantala, ilulunsad na sa susunod na linggo ang pagbibenta ng 20 pesos kada kilong bigas.

00:05Yan ang napag-usapan sa pagpupulong ng mga gobernador ng Visayas,

00:09kasama si Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. at ang Department of Agriculture sa Cebu.

00:25sa Cebu Provincial Capitol na sinamahan ni Cebu Governor Gwen Garcia.

00:30Ito'y matapos pasinayaan ang pagpupulong kasama ang Department of Agriculture

00:33at ang mga gobernador ng Region 6, 7 at 8.

00:37Humarap sa media si Agriculture Secretary Francisco Laurel Tiu Jr.

00:42at kinumpirma na magsisimula na sa susunod na linggo ang pagbibenta

00:46ng 20 pesos kada kilo na bigas sa Visayas na agad ipapatupad din sa buong bansa.

00:52Basically, ang mechanics doon, since buwaban ng world crisis,

01:35and the 6.50 will be shouldered by

01:38the participating LGUs.

01:40Pinagpaplanuhan ngayon ng mga gobernador kung paano maipapamahagi ang pagbibenta ng 20 pesos kada kilong bigas sa kanikaniang lalawigan.

02:10But the distribution on how it will be given to the people, how it can be accessed by the people is really up to the LGU. So we have different strategies. That's why we were kind of debating. Because again, this is an experiment but it's a commendable program.

02:28Kinatuwa naman ang mga gobernador dahil sa wakas, mabibili na rin ang taong bayan ang ipinangakong abot kayang presyo na bigas ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

02:38The president himself that has taken up the fulfillment of his promise but he is able to see it on a more holistic level. The Department of Agriculture being on board and as was already discussed, our Palai farmers also now being assured of a ready market.

03:04So, well, logistically, Visayas region is parang isang almost the same area lang naman tayo had. So working together with other governors from the Visayas, it's also parang reassuring din sa amin na may tutulong din sa amin.

03:22Ayon sa mga gobernador, pinag-aaralan na rin ang pamalaan na mapanatili ang pagbibenta ng 20 pesos kada kilo na bigas hanggang sa matapos ang termino ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
