00:00I think that's what makes me proud because the dream kind of turned into a reality.

00:07My name is John Lormer. The business is FCS Services Limited based in Ballymena. We're

00:16essentially an electrical contractor. As the business has grown we have moved into

00:21installation, maintenance, EV chargers, solar and just a full range of electrical services.

00:27I was looking at developing business for other companies and having those

00:33conversations the mentor sort of turned around and said to me why do you not do

00:37this for yourself and it was the first real time the penny dropped and got me

00:41thinking about it. I reached out to GoSucceed just because we'd developed the

00:47business. We were at a stage where we were thinking about growth and it was

00:51looking for help for the next stages with it. I heard about GoSucceed through

00:56social media and local council representatives and staff had pointed me

01:01in that direction so I reached out via email and had a reply quite quickly and

01:06we set up a meeting then with the advisor. It was very easy.

01:12GoSucceed has really helped the business and between the one-to-one mentorship the

01:17digital age program for social media and website and the grant funding has really

01:22really helped us. We've worked with some of the largest employers in Northern Ireland

01:27and I think that's what makes me proud because the dream kind of turned into a

01:31reality. I think my advice to other entrepreneurs or small business owners is

01:35definitely reach out and there's help available in all areas of your business

01:40and definitely reaching out to GoSucceed is worthwhile.
