00:00So let's get to this. I was getting a little broken up over this sort of event, because, boy, you know, we do things where we help out thousands of people at once when we do a food truck, or we help out a very specific group of kids who have cancer when we do a billboard radio-ethon that just wrapped up.
00:22But this, this effect, there's seven families already living in a house, doing homework, arguing over who gets to use the bathroom first, right? Going through all the things that families do because of this cooperation between this little radio station that could create it 20-something years ago, because of the cooperation with Habitat of Monmouth and
00:52the business community. I'm really proud of that. It's great to be part of.
00:57So we do have a lot of projects moving forward. And again, because of everybody here, we can do these things. We can't do them without you.
01:05As Carl was saying, Habitat is not a hand out. We call it a hand up. Our partner families participate in this just as much as we do. They do have a mortgage. They are responsible for the home once we hand the keys over.
01:19They put in sweat equity, whether it's working at our restore, working on their own build, working on other builds, working on a ramps and rail project. They put in time to help the organization as well. People are helping them and they work hard to help others.
01:34Being a parent and raising children is no easy feat. They say it takes a village. Well, I'm so happy to know Habitat for Humanity is a part of mine. The feelings of safety, stability, and peace of mind they have now provided my children and I with a brand new affordable home is unmeasurable.
01:51We are so blessed and truly appreciative for each and every one of you who have dedicated your time and talents to be here.
01:58The borough of Eatontown is thankful to expand our affordable housing offerings. We do affordable housing right in Eatontown. We don't just build a building and put it someplace. We make you part of our community. In every section of our town, we have affordable housing and this will be no different.
