00:02Men are aging faster than women.

00:05You're right, that does make me happy, actually.

00:07I told you it would.

00:08A study out of Finland finds that men are biologically older than women.

00:11And by the time they're in their 50s, men are as much as four biological years older than women of the same age.

00:19But that gap starts much younger and is already seen in men in their 20s.

00:24The study investigated if there are differences in biological aging between the sexes.

00:30Researchers did a rare study design comparing how quickly men and women in opposite sex sets of twins age.

00:36They split the twins into younger, 21 to 42 and older, 50 to 76.

00:41And they found that most male siblings were around one year biological older than their twin sisters.

00:49Interesting.

00:50Yeah.

00:51I thought you were going to tell me it had something to do with Botox.

00:55What about Botox?

00:56That Botox is helping you stay younger?

00:58Yes.

00:58And I mean, not that men can't get Botox, but I would say women far outweigh men getting Botox.

01:08Participants' health, including their body mass, smoking, drinking, exercising habits, were also assessed.
