00:14victoria seaman she is suing fellow councilwoman michelle fiori over an alleged assault that

00:20happened at city hall back in january 2021 lots gone on here there was a big argument in front of

00:28you know the the chambers but then behind the scenes it got physical supposedly and uh victoria

00:33seaman's finger was broken oh my god nuts she's also accusing city officials of destroying evidence

00:39including video of the fight that was captured by security cameras she says she was allowed to see

00:44the video in question that had damning evidence alongside a city attorney but then the city

00:49willfully allowed the footage to be deleted the suit also claims that seaman um alleges that mayor

00:56goodman upon hearing the altercation suggested she not fiori should resign if she cannot handle the

01:03stress of the job wow and combat yes exactly why you don't know hand-to-hand combat right part of

01:11our politics yeah so that is well yeah it is actually our city officials some are in jail

01:16some are fighting wow it's a microcosm of our national it's really uh incredible uh we go from

01:22city hall to the animal foundation this one also that involves councilwoman seaman uh she is uh she

01:29walked in there recently unannounced and said i'd like to take a look at the shelter please

01:33she took a look she said the conditions are appalling that was a few weeks ago

01:36sunday eight employees resign they're like boom we're done no more intakes of animals sorry this is

01:43just oh there's been a lack of improvement we feel like we're not getting the treatment we deserve from

01:47our higher ups we're done so now animal foundation they are pleading with the public to foster animals

01:54they say they took in over 2 000 animals this month alone and they're in an extreme crisis

01:58needing to free up space for animals with the most need if you're interested in fostering

02:02you can go straight to the lobby of animal foundation between 11 a.m and 7 p.m today

02:06don't call don't email because they are as you can expect short-staffed so if you want to do it

02:12just show up and they can point you in the right direction but so sad you know and this has been

02:16like there are so many non-profits in the city and then this is yeah they have the government

02:21contract animal foundation so they kind of get a little bit more pressure it's like you got money

02:25coming in so what's the problem here but yeah i don't know there's always been a big issue with

02:30uh animals and uh being abandoned in the city and it seems like it's not getting any better
