00:00Here we go, tie game, late, minute to go, and yes, Cade Cunningham had an enormous night
00:07with 33, 12, and two steals, but Dennis Schroeder hitting the big shot for the Pistons on D&T.
00:14The lead was 16-15 in the first.
00:19Schroeder's jumper, kaboom! It's a three!
00:24Bird, man.
00:25Listen, I thought that that was a cold dagger, and without hesitation, behind a screen,
00:33he just kind of slipped to the side and chucked it, and it was all splash, and he had 20 in the game,
00:39and he had three threes. I thought he was incredible. I thought Beasley played well.
00:46I even thought Reed played well. He gave him six, but he hit three of four in the minutes that he had.
00:52He produced, and then I thought Duren played really well. At the beginning of the game,
00:57he had that ferocious dunk to start the game, and I thought, once again, Harris did well,
01:03a 15-13 double-double. It flat-out beat the Knicks, and you know, the bottom line is,
01:08for me, what happened was, is that Ananobi and Hart having 10 apiece was just too soft.
01:14Well, they had 10 apiece, but did they have 10 apiece because they didn't have good nights,
01:22or did they have 10 apiece because Brunson was being a pig? Now, look, I mean, 8 for 18 for Bridges,
01:304 for 10 for Ananobi, you know, it's not like they took three shots. You know, they did have some
01:35shots, and Bridges took the shot after that, right? When they were down three, Bridges had that look at
01:41the top of the key on a three to tie the game, and he completely missed it.
01:47Was there a reason why they didn't play Payne? Because in game one, he was phenomenal,
01:52and in this game, he didn't play a minute.
01:55I saw a lot of Knick people wondering that as well, why he didn't get as much juice,
02:01because he was really good in game number one. I think that Tibbs, when he was asked about it
02:06last night, kind of chalked it up to just matchups. Matchups were pretty good in the first
02:12game. He looked pretty good in the first game. Are you kidding me? This guy absolutely changed
02:17that game one, that 21-0 run. He was the cog in the wheel, and then he never plays one minute
02:23in game two. Like, a guy has a game that good, and then you sit his ass down? Like, I've never heard
02:29of that before. I've seen a guy not do anything and sit, but I've never seen a guy have a game like
02:34that, and then never play one minute the next game. To me, that was a big mistake. I don't
02:40think Payne's some kind of hero, but he flat out deserved burn in that game.
02:47No, he definitely deserved burn, and look, I think what it really comes down to is the Knicks,
02:52you know, they tried to get their hand in the cookie jar for a second time. They weren't going
02:56to pull that off twice. You know, they had 21-0 in the first game, and then they were going to try
03:00and come back a bit. You know, they could easily be down 0-2 here, going back to Detroit. They've
03:06been outplayed. What would you say? Six and a half out of the eight quarters? 75% of the games
03:11combined, I'd say 75% of the 48 minutes, both games, I thought they got dominated 75% of the time.
03:20They had a 21-0 run. That's why they won. Then, in this game, it was again 75-25. I thought
03:27the Pistons dominated the game. It was the first time the Pistons have won a playoff game since
03:322008, so we could stop hearing about that. Here is their head coach first, J.B. Bickerstaff,
03:38very proud of his team and their performance. So proud. Yeah, it's the makeup of the men in the
03:42locker room, right? Like, we don't have guys who give in. We don't have guys who make excuses.
03:48We just have guys that show up every single day and lay it on the line for one another.
03:52Lunchtime. And that's all you can ask for. It's a special group when, to a man, they don't want
03:58to let each other down. And so they're not going to let their own personal feelings get in the way
04:03of the job that they need to do for their teammate, for their brother. So that's just who we are. And
04:09we're fortunate to have guys with that type of character and that type of spirit.
04:14I'll say this about him. He's doing a great job, fair enough, without a doubt. But listening to him
04:19complain about, call it the same way, you know, he said it multiple times last night on the sideline,
04:27call it the same way. Meanwhile, this schmo is getting every single call in the game.
04:34Like, I even said to you, Pistons won a game. They dominated. They kicked their ass. This was not
04:39because of the refs. But is there anything worse than a guy complaining about calls that's getting
04:44all of the effing calls? It's the same thing as me talking about the whiny crybaby bitch.
04:51When Luka gets every single call in the game and he's still complaining when he's going to the
04:54free throw line on an and one, he gets a call, he's still complaining. I mean, what do you want?
05:00You get the call and you're still complaining? Like, this guy, Biggerstab, was complaining all night
05:06on the sideline about the calls and he was getting all of them. It makes no sense to me whatsoever.
05:10It's like, bro, shut up. Like, chill out. Just let your guys play. He was screaming at the refs.
05:16Don't even tell me I was lip reading. I could read him. And he was dropping F-bombs on him
05:20and BS's on him left and right.
