00:09Kaunay niya, isang House Resolution na ang inihain sa Kamara

00:12bilang pakikisimpatya sa pagpanaw ng Santo Papa.

00:30Ayon kay House Assistant Majority Leader Jude Asidre na Tubong Leyte,

00:35pinakahindi niya malilimutan ang naging pagbisita ng Santo Papa sa Tacloban City noong taong 2015.

00:43Buong puso raw na nakiramay si Pope Francis sa mga biktima ng Super Typhoon Yolanda,

00:48kaya't nakatatak na ang kanyang alaala sa puso ng bawat isa.

00:53He was there when our region was recovering from Typhoon Yolanda,

00:57when we were at our lowest.

00:59He was there to really assure us that we were not alone,

01:02and that he was, he's there for us.

01:05Sabi nga niya, a little bit too late, but he's there, I'm here.

01:10Alala ko pa yung sermon niya noong misa niya sa tarmac ng Tacloban.

01:16And all these images, all these memories keep coming back to me since we've learned of his passing.

01:24So while we mourn, while we are sad by his passing, at the same time we are also grateful.

01:32And we won't express that gratitude to him for being not just a Pope,

01:38but really a father to many of us Filipinos, especially in Eastern Visayas.

01:43Hindi man Katoliko, nakiisa rin sa pagluksa ng mga Pilipino,

01:48si House Assistant Majority Leader Zia Alonto Adjo, na isang Muslim lawmaker.

01:53Hinahangaan daw niya ang Santo Papa at ang magaling na pamumuno nito.

01:58He's one of the leading voices in, I don't know, in pushing for,

02:03number one is human rights.

02:06He's very active.

02:08Before he's becoming a Pope, he was really active in, I don't know, in interfaith dialogue.

02:16And Islam is one of those religions that really pushes for that understanding and tolerance

02:24among the three major Abrahamic faiths.
