Meerut Rerun: Woman, Lover Kill Dubai-Returned Husband, Stuff Mutilated Body In Suitcase In Deoria

In an incident reminiscent of the Saurabh Rajpur murder case in Meerut, a woman murdered her Dubai-returned husband with her lover's help in Uttar Pradesh's Deoria. The matter came to fore when a farmer in Patkhauli village found a trolley bag abandoned in his field on April 20. Police found a mutilated body inside the suitcase and identified the victim as Naushad Ahmed. During the investigation, police found bloodstains inside his house and loopholes in his wife Razia's story. Upon questioning, Razia reportedly broke down, confessing that she had murdered Naushad because he was an obstacle in her affair with her nephew, Ruman. While Razia has been arrested, Ruman and his friend Himanshu, who is also involved in the crime, are absconding.
