00:00it is the start of a new year in the wwe as wrestlemania disappointing as it was is now

00:10behind us and that means it's time for some fresh faces being brought into the mix so who are we

00:17looking for uh from nxt already talked a little bit we are anticipating rusev comes in and has an

00:23impact immediately we are also anticipating that on friday malachi black probably makes his debut

00:29as that was kind of being teased but from the nxt call-ups i think there are a couple talked about

00:35it a bit on the nxt recap show available now on youtube and daily motion i i feel like it is time

00:41to call trick williams up i think you lost a lot of momentum with trick coming out of wrestlemania

00:45and i do think that there is now um a bit of like diminishing returns if you keep him down there

00:54and keep him down there and keep him down there eventually people are going to start to wonder

00:58like okay why are we keeping this guy down there and so you're not going to get that big buzz

01:02for him um like you would have if you would have called him up basically right after he lost the

01:08championship to obafemi but again i think a lot of momentum has been lost and i think you can kick

01:12start that right away i do think that if you are going to keep him separate from carmelo i think you

01:18have to keep him all the way separate from carmelo and that means putting him on monday night raw and

01:25look i've talked a bit in the raw preview about how my want for a few factions i think you could

01:31put trick williams right into a faction whether it is in the like john cena needing some backup or

01:38anything like that with with closely tied to the rock or something like that and just have him really

01:43be locked in as um someone in that world i think that would be very beneficial to him or if you want

01:49him as a baby face have him on the kind of cody army of things going up against john cena and and

01:55their push to take back what was rightfully his or anything like that um i i think that this kid has

02:01a ton of talent i think he is really good i think there are some limitations to what he can do but i

02:05don't think he's working through them at nxt so i do think that bringing him up on monday night raw

02:09makes the most sense uh fraxium this one seems obvious they they lose the tag team titles at stand and

02:15deliver there is nothing left for them to do in the tag team division over there so i i would have

02:20him or have them sorry come up now and come into the tag team division on raw that is significantly

02:27lacking at this point with the war raiders the new day and that's about it lwo as well um i guess you

02:34could uh throw them into that mix too but having fraxium and again with lwo i think they could have

02:40some unbelievable matches with the new day and just kind of continue their tag team dream run i think

02:45there could be a lot of fun had in that i do think that if you put them on smackdown it it's an

02:50already watered down tag team division but they fit in stylistically very effectively with those guys

02:57but i do think that you need to um bolster the tag team division on raw a little bit and so i think

03:02these guys definitely help you out in in that way and i'm i'm gonna say julia i i think that like

03:08bringing her down to nxt and having her go for it a little bit down there was a smart

03:14move in the build-up to wrestlemania but i do think now stephanie vakor gets the the win in

03:20that fatal four-way um that they crown a new north american champion we could have some more matches

03:26with julia and stephanie but there there is no questioning that julia is main roster ready and

03:31honestly like we talked about this in the nxt recap but between julia and stephanie and jordan

03:38grace and jada parker and even some of the ones in the uh the ladder match when you're looking at

03:45a soul ruka and uh kailani jordan and some of those performers there's a lot that are ready to to to get

03:52called up but now i do think because that division is so stacked you do need to take a couple off the

03:59top and liven things up in the the monday night raw um women's division and so with that i do think

04:06julia again moving to raw would be a whole lot of fun you have a ready-made story with eo sky if you

04:12wanted to do that or if you just have her like her against a live morgan right away or something

04:17along those lines i think would be a whole lot of fun either way whatever you do with julia she has

04:22star potential written all over her and i think that they again would get a very nice boost in the

04:27women's division over on raw if you were to do that one a couple more here that uh we're looking

04:33for to get uh potentially called up here this week i have ethan page as well again i don't think

04:40he's learning a whole lot being down there the the one part of it that's a little bit different from

04:44the women's side is that nxt as a show while i get frustrated about talking about nxt like this

04:50because it is supposed to be developmental um and so like your main focus is developing and getting

04:57guys ready for the main roster not well this is a television show but it is still a television show

05:02it is on tv um relatively prominently on cw in the states and on nxt here in canada and

05:09internationally i like you don't have a main event scene right now on the men's side um especially

05:16if we're calling trick up to to the main roster and so taking away from that does feel a little

05:23counterproductive at this time but ethan page is ready for this and again this is me desperately

05:29trying to hold on to any semblance of the rock stuff in the john cena story but ethan page and

05:34the rock have a bit of a no no no no no um a tit for tat on the the nxt that the rock showed up on

05:42and so again if you want to eat introduce ethan page at a high level and get him involved in some

05:48things right away having him be one of the backup guys with john cena i think would be a phenomenal way

05:55to introduce him there so i would have him get called up and and put him in i i picked for other

06:01ones um different shows ethan page i just put the rock universe i would have him involved in that one

06:06and the last one it's obafemi he's the nxt champion right now he is so ready is there again a couple of

06:14tightening up things that we can do with this guy for sure there is but he is he he just he screams

06:22ready doesn't he he screams that he is just like you put him on a poster or a youtube thumbnail or

06:30whatever and it just it draws your attention like who is that guy and so i i think again you kind of

06:37need that and he he has built himself up very very strongly now again the main the main event scene

06:43on the men's side on nxt right now not the strongest and so taking the champion away not

06:48great but i do think that he is ready for this sort of a thing i would put him over on on smackdown i

06:54i think that eventually he can be in the world title mix but i do think easing him in a little bit would

07:00be good and that the smackdown kind of mid-card level has been better as of late and could get quite

07:07a boost now with jacob fontu as the united states champion but the the that that scene is not nearly

07:14as good as the intercontinental title scene is on raw right now so i think obafemi would benefit from

07:18going over to smackdown so those are some of the call-ups that i would be uh very fascinated by

07:23as we head towards a new year in the wwe
