Petro Gazz defeated by Taiwan  Premier Volleyball League (PVL) champion Petro Gazz opened its 2025 Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) campaign with a four-set loss over powerhouse Taiwan Taipower squad in Pool B, 15-25, 16-25, 25-19, 19-25 , on Monday, April 21, at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.   After a historic finish in the 2024-25 All-Filipino Conference, Petro Gazz had a lackluster start in the tournament after mounting 28 errors, while Taiwan only made 18. 00:00I feel like, yeah, I mean, the championship wasn't too long ago.

00:36So I feel like, in a way, that this is, like, an opportunity to go from it and learn.

00:40So I think we can definitely do a better job of staying together and just better vibes and, you know, talk and everything.

00:47Because we have awesome Gia here, and she connects with our team super well.

00:50So just to have, yeah, just be ourselves and communicate more.

00:54I feel like that's probably, that's the main reason, I think, that we came out, like, super flat.
