00:00The film tells the story of Nick Lell, a former American soldier imprisoned in Japan in 1954.

00:07As the story opens, Nick is midway through a 10-year sentence, working as a janitor in the prison's bathroom area.

00:14While cleaning, he notices five imposing, tattooed men stepping out of the restroom,

00:19their eyes briefly locking onto him with a silent, challenging stare.

00:23So once they leave, Nick enters and is met with a shocking sight, a man hanging by the neck, his hands tightly bound.

00:30Acting on instinct, he rushes to call for the guards while desperately trying to save the man's life.

00:35Another prisoner arrives, and with Nick's help, they lower the man in an unusual manner.

00:41However, rather than being commended for their efforts, Nick's attempt to save the man goes unrecognized.

00:47Moments later, a group of guards storms in, seizing both Nick and the other prisoner before mercilessly beating them.

00:52The headguard then steps forward, his expression unreadable, and coldly references a letter left behind by the nearly deceased man

02:51an American. After some thought, Nick accepted. That evening, a clan member handed him money to rent a

02:57hotel room. But instead of resting, he ventured into a nearby gambling den and bar. There,

03:04amidst the lively atmosphere, his gaze was drawn to a stunning Japanese woman,

03:09whose beauty captivated him instantly. Smesmerized, Nick wasted no time in showing his admiration,

03:15offering her a generous tip without hesitation. The next day, Koshi brought Nick to a factory to

03:20meet Anthony Panetti, an American businessman. Hey, Nick's mission was to persuade Panetti to

03:25reconsider a business partnership with Shiratsu Keoshi after he had previously turned down their offer.

03:30However, the negotiation took an unexpected turn when Panetti revealed that he had already received

03:36a competing proposal from the Chu clan in Kobe, one backed by an American negotiator.

03:41Rather than welcoming Nick, Panetti greeted him with a cold, dismissive attitude, openly criticizing

03:47Japanese culture and the Yakuza. He made it clear that he had no intention of selling the metal factory

03:53for anything less than the Chu's clan's offer, despite any pressure from Shiratsu. With a smirk,

05:37the bar owner for his betrayal, swiftly slitting his throat. Koshi delivered the final blow with a fatal

05:43stab, making it clear that Shiratsu's authority was absolute. With the mission completed,

05:48Koshi took Nick to an upscale nightclub owned by the clan. As they entered, Nick's eyes were

05:53immediately drawn to a familiar figure the captivating woman he had met at the bar.

07:35trouble he had already hidden the cash in his car, leaving the gang empty-handed.

07:50and demanded that he kneel. At first, Nick appeared to comply, but in a split second,

09:52That evening, as the celebration of his induction was in full swing, Nick stepped outside the bar

09:58to find Koshi, eager to share something important. He revealed his relationship with Miu a confession

10:03Koshi had long dreaded. Koshi's expression darkened as he reiterated his disapproval,

10:09fearing for his sister's safety. He didn't want Miu entangled in their violent world,

10:14knowing that being with Nick would only put her life at risk.

10:17Despite his lingering concerns for Miu's safety, Koshi saw the unwavering determination in Nick's

10:23eyes as he swore to protect her at all costs. When Koshi learned that Nick and Miu had already

11:28proposal. However the Shiratsu leader is visibly insulted they hadn't even sent their leader, but

11:33instead, a young low-ranking member. Though displeased, he remains composed, masking his irritation.

11:40Orochi, a respected officer of Raspashikaratsu clan, perspairtsu persuading the leader to at least

11:46consider the offer, momentarily diffusing the tension. Despite this, the Shiratsu leader stands

11:52his ground and firmly rejects the proposal without hesitation. That night, as Orochi and Koshi drank

11:58together, Orochi couldn't conceal his frustration over the Shiratsu leader's out-rejection of his counsel.

12:04Koshi had warned him earlier, but Orochi's anger had already taken hold. His disappointment deepened

12:11when he returned home, only to find the leader visibly irritated and unwilling to meet with him.

12:16Feeling both dismissed and disheartened, Orochi left the bar in search of Miu, hoping to find

12:21solace in her company. Set is revealed that Miu and Orochi once had a romantic relationship,

12:27and now Orochi is desperately trying to rekindle their past love. However, Miu firmly rejects his

12:33advances, further stoking his frustration. Consumed by rage, Orochi loses control he slaps her in

12:39attempt to force himself on her. Meanwhile, the scene shifts to a high-profile sumo match,

12:45where the Shiratsu and Shizu clans are holding a tense meeting.

12:48Since time the saizu chairman himself approaches the Shiratsu leader, presenting a proposal that is

12:53entirely different from before. This was no longer a mere business proposal, but a veiled demand for the

12:59Shiratsu leader to step down, surrender his power, and allow the saizu clan to merge into the Shiratsu

13:06family. The Shiratsu leader, however, took this as a deep insult and immediately rejected the offer.

13:12With an air of unwavering authority, he reminded the saizu chairman that the Shiratsu clan were not

13:17scavengers thriving in the shadows of crime. Before departing, he issued a final warning every

13:22step the saizu clan took from this point forward could lead to consequences beyond their control.

13:27On his way back to Kobe, Nick unexpectedly ran into an American man who greeted him with familiarity.

13:33It was Polly Bowers, an old friend and a soldier currently on leave. Bowers seemed both surprised

13:39and thrilled to see Nick again, leaving Nick with little choice but to engage in conversation.

13:45However, what began as a casual reunion quickly took a dark turn Bowers abruptly hinted that he knew

13:50Nick had faked his death to evade trial. With a smirk, he subtly threatened to expose the truth,

13:56sending a wave of unease through Nick. Thinking fast, Nick invited Bowers to his home,

14:01hoping to diffuse the tense situation. Once inside he poured Bowers a drink,

14:06maintaining a calm facade. Then, without warning, he swiftly plunged a small knife into Bowers' neck,

14:13silencing him for good. Later that night, Nick went to Miyu's house, but when she opened the door,

14:19his relief turned to shock her face was marked with fresh bruises. His fury ignited,

14:23and he pressed her to reveal who had hurt her. However, instead of answering,

14:29Miyu stunned him with unexpected news she was pregnant with his child.

14:33Hugh then asked Nick to leave. Though hurt, he respected her wishes and walked away,

14:38his mind heavy with emotions. Seeking solace, he went to see Koshi and confided in him about Miyu's

14:44pregnancy. Nick offered to leave the Shiratsu clan if that was what Koshi wanted. However,

14:49instead of reacting with anger, Koshi calmly invited him inside. There he presented Nick with

14:55two swords, known as Dao, explaining that they were a legacy from his father. One blade was meant

15:00to take a life, while the other was reserved for Koshi himself should he ever choose to follow that

15:05path. Koshi admitted that he had protected Miyu since childhood, and was now entrusting that

15:10responsibility to Nick. In a silent moment of understanding, Nick took one of the Dao's swords,

15:15accepting the weight of Koshi's trust. He then asked for Koshi's help in disposing of Bauer's body.

15:21Meanwhile, at the Seizu headquarters, Orochi sat in a tense discussion with the clan leader.

15:26As their conversation unfolded, Orochi made a shocking confession he had betrayed the Shiratsu

15:31clan, and was secretly orchestrating their downfall. The next day the Shiratsu leader brought

15:36Koshi and Nick to a tailor shop. As they waited, the leader stepped into a fitting room but failed to

15:42return. Sensing something was wrong, Nick followed and was shocked to find a shop employee strangling

15:48the leader. Without hesitation he rushed in to intervene, but before he could act, Koshi,

15:53who had followed closely behind, saw the struggle, and instantly shot the assailant dead. With no time

15:59to waste, they hurried back to their car, but just as they were about to escape, the Seizu gang launched

16:05a sudden ambush. Nick and Koshi fought relentlessly to shield the leader as the Seizu clan launched their

16:11attack. In the midst of the chaos, a Seizu gunman fired a fatal shot, killing Koshi. Though grief

16:17stricken, Nick and the leader managed to escape, returning to their base to regroup with the

16:22remaining Shiratsu members. Once back, the leader made a grim revelation there was a traitor in their

16:27midst. One of their escorts at the tailor shop had secretly been working for the Seizu clan.

16:32Fueled by rage and the need for justice, the Shiratsu clan made a decisive choice war against the

16:37Seizu was now inevitable. When Nick broke the news of Koshi's death to Mew, she was overcome with

16:42grief, spiraling into hysteria. Meanwhile, Nick and the remaining Shiratsu members launched a relentless

16:48assault on the Seizu clan, systematically hunting down and eliminating their rivals. As the war raged

16:55on, Nick managed to intimidate a high-ranking Seizu leader, signaling that the Shiratsu clan was

17:01closing in on total victory. Seizu leader sent a young boy to the Shiratsu headquarters with a message

17:06calling for an end to the war. He proposed a final confrontation in a neutral zone and unarmed

17:12battle to settle the conflict once and for all. So Shiratsu leader agreed and dispatched Nick,

17:17along with several clan members, to the port where the fight was set to take place. However,

17:22upon their arrival Chairman Seizu and Orochi emerged, brazenly revealing their betrayal.

17:27Despite everything, the Shiratsu leader, who had always regarded Orochi as a son,

17:32chose forgiveness. With a heavy heart, he pleaded with Orochi to return to the Shiratsu clan,

17:37before it was too late. As the Shiratsu leader embraced Orochi, trusting him one final time,

17:43Orochi suddenly plunged a blade into his heart, killing him. So Shiratsu members,

17:48surrounded and outgunned, could do nothing but watch in shock as Orochi cemented his betrayal.

17:54With cold finality, Orochi declared the fall of the Shiratsu clan, and offered Nick a chance to walk

18:00away unharmed if he abandoned the fight. But Nick refused. Just as he prepared to strike back,

18:06a sniper's bullet tore through his leg, bringing him to his knees. At that moment,

18:10police forces stormed in, launching a raid on the Shiratsu headquarters and setting it ablaze.

18:16That night Nick stealthily infiltrated Miu's house, slipping past the Seizu guard station to watch over

18:21her. Determined to free her, he led her away and then made his way straight to Seizu's headquarters.

18:26Gripping the Dao sword Koshi had entrusted to him. With unwavering resolve, he demanded the right to

18:32kill Orochi. When Nick finally confronted him, Orochi tossed a Daisho sword at his feet, refusing to

18:38fight. With a cold smirk, he dismissed Nick as nothing more than an outsider, declaring that no

18:44matter what he did, he would never truly belong to the Yakuza. In a swift, decisive strike, Nick wielded

18:51the sword and severed Orochi's head. The room fell into stunned silence. Just as another Seizu member

18:57raised his gun to shoot Nick, the Seizu leader unexpectedly intervened, stopping him. After

19:03acknowledging that Nick had avenged the Shiramatsu clan by killing Orochi, he ordered him to leave.

19:08Without hesitation, Nick obeyed and walked away from Seizu headquarters. The film concludes with Nick

19:14returning to the apartment where he had been hiding. Pew rushes into his arms, holding him tightly.

19:19Meanwhile, a surviving Shiramatsu Yakuza stands guard outside, offering Nick a respectful bow and

19:26unspoken acknowledgement that he may now be the rightful leader of the Shiramatsu clan.
