00:00Fans of Fuwa and Feng Yi flock to Zoo Nagara on Sunday for one last chance to see the beloved giant pandas before they are repatriated to China in May.
00:10I almost came and see them twice a week. We take them as our child also.
00:20I came here and always talk to them and they give me reaction.
00:24They are not just animals. They are my pets, my child, my children.
00:31I said, Feng Yi, auntie is here. Look at me, please.
00:35Yeah, Fuwa, Fuwa. Don't like that. Please play the ball. I even go and kick the ball.
00:44I don't know how to express my feelings. I just cry. Just like this.
00:50I hope they can have a very good keepers to really taking care of them.
00:57And I hope Feng Yi and Fuwa really enjoy the life in their hometown, in Madeline.
01:04And happy always, healthy always, and just eat, just play and just enjoy the life.
01:11Yeah.
01:13Feng Yi and Fuwa dah nak balik.
01:27So, sedih pun kena lepaskan dia balik lah. Dia punya kampuan alaman dia.
01:32So, semoga Fuwa yang permit dijaga dengan baik, dengan ikhlas, dengan penuh kasih sayang,
01:38macam mana daddy-daddy dia dekat sini jaga diorang.
01:41The pair has begun a quarantine process at the Giant Panda Conservation Centre in preparation for their return.
01:48Following their departure, Malaysia is expected to receive a new pair of pandas under a renewed 10-year conservation agreement.
01:55The new agreement was signed on April 16, during the three-day state visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to Malaysia.
02:02Fuwa and Feng Yi arrived in Malaysia on May 21, 2014.
02:07During their time here, they gave birth to three cubs, Nuan Nuan, Yi Yi, and Sheng Yi,
02:14all of whom have since been repatriated to China.
02:17To commemorate the farewell, Zu Nagara will host a series of public programs,
02:22including a message board, documentary screenings,
02:25interactive sessions with panda keepers, and creative competitions.
02:37We'll be right back to you.
02:52It'll be great for you.
